How to Make a Web Page That Pays

1. Choose a domain name for your website. A domain name is the address of the name. Pick a domain name that is relevant to your site.
2. Pick a web hosting company. There are hundreds of different web hosting companies. Choose the cheapest hosting plan and upgrade later on if your website requires additional bandwidth.

3. Install a Web-page editor or a publishing platform such as Wordpress. These programs help you edit your website. You do not need any computer programming knowledge if you use these programs.
4. Apply for Google AdSense. Google AdSense places relevant ads on your website. Once you are accepted you are able to make your own ads and paste the code onto your web page and it will automatically generate relevant ads.
5. Write an E-book about the material on your website. Create a page discussing your E-book and ask for users to email you for purchasing the book.
6. Sign up for affiliate programs. Nearly all large businesses have affiliate programs. Once you are accepted all you have to do is copy and paste the affiliate code link onto a blog post. Once a user clicks the link, a cookie is stored on their computer. If the user buys anything the item is tracked back to your affiliate link.

How to Put an Ad on a Tumblr Webpage

1. Access the advertisement code you want to put on your Tumblr page and copy it. This is typically done by logging in to an affiliate account, such as your Amazon Associates page, generating the promotion and then copying the code that automatically displays. See your affiliate account's 'Help,' 'Support' or 'FAQ' page if you need more information on this process.
2. Log in to your Tumblr account and click the 'Customize' link.

3. Click the 'Theme' option in the menu and then click the 'Use custom HTML' button.
4. Scroll through the code that displays until you see the '
' tag, which is typically 3/4 of the way down on a Tumblr theme. Paste your advertisement code underneath this tag to make it visible on your blog. If you want the offer to appear at a specific place on your blog page, find that text in the blog code and then paste the offer code near this area.
5. Click the 'Save Close' button, then click the name of your Tumblr blog on your Tumblr dashboard page to see your ad.
