How do I Create Turnkey Internet Businesses in Hours and Sell Them?

1. Purchase a website domain and hosting for the site. You can usually buy a domain and hosting from the same provider, as part of a package. You can use a website such as bluehost.com to do both.
2. Setup the website on the host site. Purchase a website template. These sites can be bought cheaply and are filled with several pages and are ready to be customized. Upload the pages to your host after you make changes to include the site name and any design changes you want.

3. Add content to each page. You can purchase content from content providers such as Constant Content. Pick content that relates to a specified topic that your website will be about.
4. Add links to related sites. You can add products to one of the pages to be sold, just find out where the products can be purchased from to give this information to the person you sell the site to. You can use a free Paypal shopping cart to make the items clickable for purchase.
5. List the website for sale in places such as Craigslist and on other online bulletin-board-type websites. You can even include on the website itself that it is for sale and list your contact email.

How to Install The Google Sitemaps Plugin in a WordPress Blog

1. Download the Google Sitemap plugin to your computer. You can find the link for this in the Resources section below, or just search for the Google Sitemap plugin on the WordPress plugin page.
2. Sign onto your web host. This will vary from user to user. If you use free WordPress and not a host, you cannot use plugins.

3. Find wp-content/plugins directory on your hosting site. Upload the zip file (google-sitemap-generator.3.1.0.1.zip or higher) to the plugins folder.
4. Extract the zipped files.
5. Make two different files (named sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz) and upload via FTP to your directory. The directory is usually called wp-config.php. Althought you do not want your whole site to be writable, you do want these two new files to be writable via CHMOD 666.
6. Go into your plugins on WordPress and activate the newly added sitemap.

How to Promote Affiliate Products Without A Website

1. Join Forums and discussion groupsDo a quick Google search and find a few forums that are related to the product you will be promoting. Find at least 2 or 3 that have a high page rank and register with them. Once you register set up your signature line which is where you will put your name and affiliate links. After you do that it is time to get active. Start posting questions, comments and answers to other member's questions. Don't promote your products in the body of your posts. Simply write a valuable informative response and people will read your signature line and more than likely visit your site. The more active you are the better. Try to visit the forums a few times a week. Once people see that you are a valuable contributor they will start to trust you. Once you build trust you will begin to attract visitors to your affiliate links. The more visitors you get the more likely you are to get sales.
2. Writing ArticlesThis is probably the best way to generate a ton of targeted traffic to your affiliate products. If you write good informative articles you will get a decent amount of traffic to your site. Submit each article you write to several different directories. I personally submit my articles to 7 different directories.Ezinearticles.com
Ideamarketers.com
Articledashboard.com
Affsphere.com
Ehow.com (revenue sharing site)
Flixya.com (revenue sharing site)
Howhub.com (revenue sharing site)Your articles don't have to be long. 300-400 words will do just fine. Make sure you have a compelling title. If the title isn't interesting then people won't read the article which means you won't get any traffic or sales.Make sure your article has a good keyword density. This is how people will find your article when they use search engines such as Google or when they search on the article directory site.Once you finish writing your article you will have a box that is called the resource box. This is where you will put your affiliate links and any other information about the product you are promoting. The great thing about articles is that they stay in the archives of these directories forever so you can still be getting sales from your articles years after you have written them. Doesn't get any better than that.

3. Linkreferral.comLinkreferral is a free traffic exchange site. You have to participate on a regular basis in order to get a decent amount of traffic. Here is how it works. You have to visit 30 sites in the network a day, comment on 5 of them, favorite 1 of them and make a post in the forums. Once you have done that you will receive 30-60 unique visitors to your site a day. Not bad for about 30-40 minutes worth of work.
4. Create a squidoo pageIt is true that you do not need your own personal website in order to promote affiliate products. The problem is that not all article directories will let you send their visitors to an affiliate website. Ezinearticles.com is one of them. Ezinearticles.com gets A LOT of traffic so it would be a great idea to submit articles to their site. To make sure your articles get published and to get around the fact that you can't send visitors directly to an affiliate website you can simply set up a squidoo page.Squidoo is a very high ranking site. Put together a good squidoo page by posting articles (the same ones you post in the article directories) and other information about the product you are promoting. From there you can send them to your affiliate site.

How to Make Money to View Ads

1. Look over the terms and conditions of the different sites offering to pay you to view advertisements. Look for a site with a low cash-out amount but not one that makes it seem like you will get rich quick on their site.
2. Read through the payment terms of each site. Always look for one paying a set fee for advertisements and not one that promises free products or gift cards.

3. Perform a web search for the name of the site you are considering plus the word 'scam' or 'review'. This will give you links to user-written reviews of the company so you get an idea of the working conditions.
4. Set up a junk email account. When doing work for sites that pay users for watching advertisements, there is a good chance the site will share your email address with the advertisers. Using a junk email address for this type of work will keep your regular email box free of spam.
5. Sign up for an account at one or more of the sites that you decided fits your needs. Read through any information they send to you to ensure you are following all of the site's rules.
6. Complete the screening survey to determine your demographics. The survey will ask your age, gender, household makeup and yearly income at the minimum. You may have to answer additional questions depending on the site you choose.
7. Select an available advertisement to watch. Keep the advertisement at the front of your screen.
8. Respond to any prompts presented during or at the end of the advertisement. You may need to click on the flashing button or another target within a set number of seconds. These prompts ensure you are watching the ad and not just opening it and walking away.
9. Answer any questions asked about the advertisement. Questions may include if you think the advertisement is effective or if you would change anything about the ad. You typically receive more pay for ads that require you to give your opinion.
10. Continue watching any available advertisement. If you run out, log out of the website and try again within a few hours. If possible, sign up for email alerts from the site so you receive notice of when new advertisements are available.

How to Make Money on the Internet

1. **Read this, just for a bit of inspiration**I make about $3,500 a month on the internet. Not quite enough for me and my family to live on, but a nice addition to my income just the same. It's pretty easy, and pretty quick, to get a SMALL income stream started. It takes time and effort to build it up. Might as well get started today.
2. **Take stock of what you have to offer**If you are a writer, programmer, designer, or photographer, there are oodles of opportunities for you. If you have a speciality of any sort -- carpentry, raising kids, planning vacations or weddings, playing Guitar Hero 3 -- you can get paid for your expertise.Even if you think all you can offer is time, there are plenty of opportunities for you as well.

3. **Scan the available steps**I've listed a lot of options in the steps that follow, all of them legitimate. Pick the one that seems the best fit for you and your skills, and start exploring.
4. **Freelance Work**If you have a skill to offer, check out the various freelance sites (sometimes called 'personal outsourcing'), like elance.com and guru.com (see the Resources section for the links I mention). You can post your skills at these sites, so potential customers can check you out, and you can also look around for freelance projects that others have posted. There are tons of opportunities for freelancers, in very varied fields. Common projects, though, are writing, computer or graphics design work, creating web pages, programming, writing brochures or reports, illustration, photography, and so on.Pay can be pretty good, especially after you've earned a quality rating at one or more of the freelancing sites. At the same time, though, keep in mind that you're competing with freelancers from around the world.Take a look at the 'How Elance Works' video on their main page to get a quick overview.
5. **Try Writing Web Content**There are a quite a number of ways to take your skill as a writer and turn it into cash. One of them is right here at eHow. Write brief 'How to' articles on any topic of your choosing, and get paid for the article. The more popular the article, the more income you can expect. A good article will bring in $50 per year or more. Write 10 top-notch articles, and that's $500. A hundred articles...you get the picture.I can't say enough good things about eHow. To my mind, it is the best income generating opportunity available. Google the term 'ehow101' to learn more about how to make it work.UPDATE: eHow is now run through its parent company, Demand Media Studios (DMS). If you want to apply to write for eHow or other DMS properties, or to be an editor, check out the freelancer's application at demandmedia.com.
6. **Write Product Review**ConsumerSearch.com, a site owned by the N.Y. Times, pays freelance writers a minimum of $350 per article for product reviews. While that sounds like good money (and it is...and you can earn even more than that!), their particular brand of reviews requires good research and writing skills, and takes a lot of work. Check 'em out at consumersearch.com/jobs.
7. **More writing opportunities**--At SoftwareJudge.com, write reviews of select software products...top reviews earn up to $50 each.--Product Reviews. You may be familiar with epinions.com, but did you know they pay cash for good quality reviews. You won't get rich, but you can get started.--Suggest domain names according to site descriptions at Pickydomains.com Get $25 for each name that is chosen.--At Xomba.com, write anything you feel like, and collect 50% of any advertising income from Adsense clicks on your page.--Become a fledgling journalist at examiner.com, and cover a special topic area in your neck of the woods...they pay pretty well.--Other writing sites include associatedcontent.com, firehow.com, helium.com, and Squidoo. In fact, one of my eHow colleagues has put together a very nice Squidoo 'lens' with 101 sites where you can get paid to provide content...check it out in the Resources section.
8. **Check out QA Sites**I earn much of my income as an online researcher, answering folks questions on everything under the sun: investments, market research, divorce law, homework help...you name it. If this sounds like your cup of tea, here are some resources to explore:--The Association of Independent Information Professionals (aiip.org) can help you build you own QA website and business. I've built my research business at xooxleanswers.com, and it is a steadily growing source of income for me.--I also work with Uclue.com Though they are not accepting new researchers right now, it's worth a look to see how a well-developed QA site works.--Another QA site is JustAnswer, and they offer small payments for answers to questions.
9. **Earn money from your own blog or website**The key is to generate as much traffic as you can, and to have your visitors click on ads and affiliate links. The more people visiting your site, clicking on ads, and buying affiliate products, the more income you can earn. As good as this sounds, income is generally more a trickle than a flood. But again, steadily building your site (or sites), and building traffic, is the key to generating a steadily growing stream of income.Google Adsense is the most commonly used service for placing banner and text ads on blogs and websites. As I've learned to maximize Adsense income over the years, I've come to recognize this as one of the best income-generating opportunities available. You can also incorporate in-text ads (the colored, underlined text with small pop-up ads). I like InfoLinks.com for this, and Kontera.com is another commonly used service.Affiliate ads usually pay whenever a sale is made for a product. Amazon.com has one of the most well-known affiliate programs that all you to sell books or other Amazon products on your site or blog, and earn a cut of the sale.Other good affiliate resources are Commission Junction at cj.com, LinkShare.com, and AssociatePrograms.com.
10. **Blog With the Best of Them**If you don't have a site of your own, starting a blog is pretty easy at sites like Blogger.com, and Wordpress.com. Blogs make money through online advertising and affiliate sales, such as through the Amazon.com affiliates program. Blogger makes it very simple to automatically place Google Adsense ads on your blog. Also, at Orble.com, you can take ownership of an abandoned blog with a specific focus, like Film, or Travel, and collect a portion of the ad revenues. The advantage of this is that the blog is already well-represented in search engines, and can often generate much more traffic than a new blog of your own. See Orble under the Resource links for more information.
11. **Sell your photos**At sites like istockphoto.com and shutterpoint.com you can upload still photos or videos for sale, and receive a royalty payment every time someone makes use of your content.
12. **Take Online Surveys**I mention survey work with a good deal of trepidation...the surveys are tedious, the pay is meager, and there are many sites that are dubious, or out and out scams. The most legitimate operation I know is GlobalTestMarket.com. They offer real surveys, and they pay real money. Again...tedious, and earning takes a long, long time.CashCrate.com also pays users to take online surveys. They strike me as legitimate, but I confess, I don't have any first-hand experience with it, so approach with caution...SurveyScout.com is another possibility, but unlike CashCrate, they charge a membership fee before you can get started (Boo!). I've also heard some negative feedback from users of this site, so proceed with caution (if you proceed at all!).
13. **Teaching and Tutoring**Search on [ Online tutoring ] and you'll uncover dozens of sites in this booming corner of the internet. Many accept applications for online tutors, with variable rates and topic areas. Two to consider are tutor.com and ehomeworkhelp.com
14. **Check into online 'Jury Duty'**Here's an odd one. Lawyers looking for feedback on how a case will play before a jury can make use of online e-jury sites to solicit input from the type of average citizens that show up on juries. Yes, you get paid. Fees for complex cases can run over $50, though $20 is more typical. To serve as an online juror, check out onlineverdict.com, or trialpractice.com.Be aware, though, that none of the sites I've registered at has ever actually contacted me for a jury case, so I'm not sure just how active these services are. If anyone knows more about them, please leave a remark in the Comments.
15. **Become a virtual office assistant**At TeamDoubleClick, you can sign on for temporary jobs as an office assistant, handling correspondence, emails, bookkeeping, data entry, and other office jobs. Think of it as an online temp agency for virtual work. Pay is varied, but you are not obliged to take jobs that don't meet your financial needs.
16. **Play games**At moola.com, you can get paid to play. This is probably the strangest one yet, and I can't personally vouch for it (I've only tinkered with the site), but it looks legitimate. Moola starts you off by giving you a penny, which you can then double, and double again, through a variety of games and activities.Presumably, they make oodles of money through ads, and are willing to throw some of it your way by participating in their zany set of games and marketing gimmicks. They call themselves a 'Massively Multiplayer Rewards Game'. It's too complicated to explain here, but worth a look.
17. **Participate in crowdsource design**'Crowdsourcing' is the buzzword for getting a lot of people to do your work for you. If you're good at designing things like t-shirts, logos, fancy fonts, and other graphics, take a look at the challenges at 99designs.com and threadless.com.If your design is chosen, you can collect hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
18. **More blogging opportunities**How does $100 a month sound for writing a few blog posts every week? That's what you can be paid (actual range is $84-140) if you get accepted as a blogger at Creative Weblogging. They are a large blog network, and seem to have mastered the art of monetizing their many sites. All they need are people to write them, and keep the content fresh.UPDATE: Creative Weblogging has changed hands and is changing how -- or if -- it pays bloggers. Stay tuned for additional updates.
19. **Earn with any type of content**Blogging, articles, photos, video, you name it. Flixya offers 100% of ad revenue to anyone who posts at their website (you need to have your own Google Adsense account to participate). Words, pictures, videos, whatever ya got. Post it, bring in some traffic, and collect some ad clicks. (Haven't tried it yet myself, but Flixya has a good reputation).
20. **Just Visit**Another site that pays for content is mylot.com, but they also promise earnings everytime you use the site!. They also pay for referrals. Haven't given them a test run yet, so use them with caution, but they seem worth exploring, at least. If you have experience with them, please post a comment, below.
21. **Listen to music**At slicethepie.com, you can get paid for listening to music.Say what!!! Yep, listen to upcoming artists, and review their music. The more reviews you write -- and the better you are at spotting new talent -- the more you can get paid. Some folks are pulling in several dollars per review.
22. **Typing and Dictation**If you have good typing skills, consider Speak-Write.com, an online dictation service.
23. **Stay focused**You can participate in online focus groups at 2020research.com, where you review a product you've used, or discuss an issue of interest to you. Payment ranges from about $50-150 per session. Participants are typically asked to join a group once or twice a year.
24. **Work for Google**Ha, ha...couldn't resist. But you can earn through Google by posting content at Google Knol. This online encylopedia-like site is a place where anyone can contribute content, and you can 'monetize' your efforts by placing Adsense ads on your article to generate revenue. I wrote a Knol about eHow. You can see it by searching on the term ehow101.
25. **Review websites for usability**You can get paid for reviewing websites. Usertesting.com pays $10 per website review, where you provide feedback on quality and usability. It's not open-ended...you have to be selected to test, based on your demographic profile.
26. **Earn money reading emails**Really! Of course, there are ads involved, and you might be asked to click a few things, but it's not difficult. Expect to get 5-10 emails a day (more, if you register multiple email addresses), and earn a few pennies per email. Check out InboxDollars.com.
27. **Try a little bit of everything**Genuinejobs.com is a legitimate work-at-home (telecommuting) site that lists hundreds of jobs, none of which require a fee, and many of which can be done online. Registration is simple...worth checking out.
28. **Write for the NY Times**Really! The Times owns two sites that regularly hire writers.I already mentioned ConsumerSearch.com up above, a site that uses freelance writers to create detailed reviews of common consumer products...minimum pay is $350 per write-up, and they do a lot of hiring.About.com, another Times property, hires writers as guides. These positions, paying $725/month or more, are tough to get, but worth looking into.
29. **And don't forget...**At the risk of repeating myself, eHow is just about the best opportunity out there. Although getting on board through Demand Media Studios takes more work than at the eHow of old, it's still worth the effort.

How to Add Amazon Context Links to Wordpress

1. Download the Amazon Links Pro WordPress Plugin from Tod Sacerdoti. WordPress add-ons are managed through user-created plug-ins.
2. Unzip the plugin. Via FTP, upload the amazon-links-pro.php file to the /wp-content/plugins folder on your Web server.

3. Log in to your WordPress administrator’s panel and click on “Plugins” so that you can activate it. After activation, you will need to customize the Amazon Context Links plug-in.
4. Click on “Settings” and then on “Amazon Links Pro” to configure your new plug-in. You can choose which features Amazon will show with your Context Link, as well as configure custom colors. It is best to choose colors that blend in with your current WordPress theme.
5. Choose how many Context Links you would like to appear on a page, as well as from which categories you would like products chosen. Enter your Amazon Associate Tag in the appropriate box. It is important that you enter this, or you will not be credited for purchases from your site.
6. Verify that the links appear as you want them to by checking the Sample Preview box. After selecting all of your options, click on the “Update Options” button.
7. Check your site in 45-60 minutes to see if Amazon has crawled the site and added Context Links. Context Links will have a small pop-up box appear if you hover over ext that is hyperlinked. If the links do not show up within the first hour, Amazon is likely a bit backlogged and it will take a bit more time.

How to Build a Web Site That Makes Money or Income

1. The first thing you need to do is have a plan make a check list to follow and stick to it.
What interests do you have, hobbies ,work related ,sports that you have experience with ,etc.
You will need a good web site builder like Dream weaver or Front page I use Front page and become familiar with FTP to upload your site.
Before you build your web site you need a domain name for it. The key factors in selecting a domain name' web address' that will boost your profits or income Make your business web site look as professional and targeted as possible to the people that are looking to buy. This can take some time but write down what domain names you want. Then go to a hosting service like godaddy, that is who I use they are reliable and have good prices. Type in the name and see if it available, try and use .com if possible.
Remember that the search engines like your site name in the domain name. Here is a example: If you like golf look for something like 'my golf tips' or' golfhelpbooks' you get the idea. Whatever you decide on make sure that the subject is in the domain name.
2. The articles, and information on the site should be relevant to the site and should target the area of the public that the website is concerned with.
The site should be easy to use, with the interface and navigation simple and reliable.
The graphics and text should include a single style and the same font throughout, to show consistency. The style should be professional, appealing and relevant.
The site must also be easy to find ,good key words on each page, so that the major search engines and folks searching can find it.
Getting people to pay attention to your content, good publishing provides the unique opportunity to create targeted content for whatever product you choose to sell. Create a good quality web page in a proven market by packaging together similar or complementary products with reviews on the page. If you have your own product to sell you can use Pay pal or Google merchants to collect payments I use both. Both these credit card services are easy to use and give you the buy buttons to place on your page. I like to use the smallest buy button that is available. You can also use drop down buy buttons if you have more then one product to sell on one page.

3. Does one of your web site sell to businesses or shoppers? Position your content or reviews accordingly. Figure out how you can cut through the clutter to reach your target audience through writing what they need to read and what they are looking to purchase.
You will need to make sure that the web site is content rich, have atlas 100 or more words on the index page(or home page) to allow the search engines to find your site. Keep the content about what the site has to offer and have solutions or answerers to what people are searching for. If you are selling products make sure each page is linked to the home page. Offer product reviews on the page with a affiliate link or banner to the site that is selling the product.
You can sign up as a affiliate at Sharasale or Commission Juction,or Click bank if you want to sell eBooks there are a few more that are easy to work with and send out monthly commission checks most have direct deposit to your bank account.
If you are just writing content you can place adsense ads on the side or at the bottom of the page.Google Adsense is an ad serving program run by Google. It is Pay Per Click and Contextual advertising Adsense has many different options on how to place there ads on your page. The html part of the page needs to have the key words in the title so the correct ads appear on the page. Remember never ,never, click on your own ads Google will ban you for click fraud.
These are just a few good web site building tips that I have learned through trial and error. If you have any questions on how to make a website that makes money post them and I will do my best to answer them.

How to Increase eCPMs

1.

Compare the performance of the same ad in different places.

Analyze the placement and performance of existing AdSense ads on your site. Since Google measures the click-through rate of ads in its calculation of how to compensate publishers, you should publish ads where your users notice. Click on them. As Keith D'Souza advises, you can analyze this behavior by using AdSense Channels to monitor the performance of different ad positions, ad sizes, and ad formats. AdSense allows you to show both display and text ads. Experiment with each format to see which leads to more user interaction. Display those ads.
2.

Give your existing audience more enjoyment.

Incorporate strategies to make your site 'stickier' for existing readers. this will create more impressions from the same audience. Noted blogger Amit Agarwal suggests adding a search box to the top and bottom of every page on your site. Similarly, Darren Rowse of Problogger suggests you offer conspicuous subscription options to your readers. Rowse also suggests increasing interactivity by adding a subscribe-to-comment feature and by responding to comments yourself. This will create increased impressions from people following the conversation. Further, consider incorporating a related content section on each page so visitors easily can find more content that they enjoy.

3.

Make it easy for your audience to share your content.

Get increased traffic and, therefore, increased ad impressions by promoting your site. Integrate social networking links that allow your audience to share content they enjoy with their network. Also consider unconventional sources of traffic. As Amit Agrawal points out, if you publish some content to sites like Flickr, YouTube, and Twitter, you can garner new audience members for your content.
4.

Car dealerships spend more on ads than cafes.

Increase your ad revenues by targeting a more lucrative audience. All audiences are not equal, and since advertisers bid for ad placement on websites through Google, those advertisers with higher profit margins are able to bid more. For example, a car dealership makes much more per new customer than does a cafe. So if your content targets people shopping for new cars, your eCPM will be higher than a site targeting people looking for the best local coffee.

How to Make Money With Free Content

1. Register with content sites, such as HubPages, Squidoo and Helium. These sites have programs for writers to create free content. They make money for the writer in several different ways. For example, HubPages lets you place Google Adsense advertisements on your content page. The site also encourages product links to Amazon and eBay. The writer shares revenue with the content site. With HubPages, for example, the writer receives roughly 60 percent of the revenue. Squidoo and Helium have similar structures, although Helium only uses Google Adsense.
2. Start a blog. Write new articles often and engage with your visitors in the comments section to maintain reader interest. The blog can cover technical topics, like electronic devices, or more personal ones, such as family life and relationships. As you build up readers, you can make money by offering related products for sale either directly with your own web store or as an affiliate for another web store. For example, if you blog about animals, you can create an affiliate link to a site that sells dog products. The affiliate pays you an agreed-upon amount for every product that you help sell. You also can sell ad space for related products on your blog.

3. Write ebooks. An ebook is an informational electronic book. For example, if you are a dog trainer, you can write an ebook about training dogs. Some writers sell their ebooks, but you can offer one for free. Typically, this is done to give your readers something of tangible value while also offering other products or services that they may purchase. You can use affiliate programs and Google Adsense as other income streams. With an ebook, you can provide valuable information for free and promote your own 'more valuable' product, which comes with a fee. For example, a free dog training ebook could be used to promote your dog training videos.

How to Set Up a Google AdWords Account

Initial Setup
1. Go to the Google AdWords home page and click the 'Start Now' button.
2. Choose a 'Starter' or 'Standard Edition' account. For the most flexibility in your Google AdWords ads, choose the standard edition.

3. Select the language in which you want your ads to display. Choose the language your customers are most likely to use.
4. Decide how targeted you want your ads to be. If you are selling worldwide (an e-book as an affiliate marketer, for example) you'll likely want to choose all countries and territories. If you are a physical business that ships throughout your country, choose your country only. If you are a local business that only sells locally, choose the customized option and your ads will only show up for customers within the geographical area you specify. Click 'Continue' when you've made your choices.
Creating Your Google AdWords Ad
5. Type the headline of your ad. Make this catchy, and be sure it contains the keyword phrase you want this ad to trigger. For example, if you are selling cat furniture want the ad to show up when someone enters the phrase 'buy cat furniture' into Google, your headline might be 'Buy Cat Furniture For Less.' You have a maximum of 35 characters to create your headline, so make every word count.
6. Enter the first description line of your ad. You have 25 characters to give a brief description of your products. For example: 'Fun Furniture For Cats.'
7. Create the last line of your ad. You will want to entice the reader to visit your Web site so tell them to do so with an offer like 'See Our Selection Here.' Again, you have 25 characters so make your words count.
8. Add the display URL of your Web site to your AdWords ad.
9. Include your destination URL. This can be the same as your display URL if you want to send customers to your home page of your Web site. If you are an affiliate marketer, though, enter the link with your affiliate ID to ensure your commission should someone buy through your ad. Click 'Continue.'
Entering Your Keywords
10. Choose the phrases and keywords you think are most likely to trigger your ad. Your Google AdWords ad is displayed only when someone enters a search term into Google that you have specifically requested, so do some keyword research to ensure you know which phrases will work best for your product.
11. Enter your chosen keywords into the box provided, one per line. Beside this box you will see a link named 'Advanced Option: Match Types.' This shows you how to add special characters to your keywords to control how exact you want to match your keywords to an entered search term. For example: [cat furniture] will only display if someone enters that exact phrase into Google, while 'cat furniture' will also show for phrases such as 'buy cat furniture' or 'cheap cat furniture.' Leaving a keyword phrase without special characters ensures your ads will show up when any combination of a keyword phrase is entered, such as 'sell cat furniture.'
12. Add negative keywords. There may be some words or phrases that you don't want your ads to show up for. A good example of this is the word 'free.' You're not giving away your product so you don't want to waste time or clicks on people looking for a free ride. You can eliminate all keyword searches that contain the word 'free' by entering the word with a minus sign in front of it ('-free'). Click 'Continue' when you are done entering your keywords.
Adding Personal and Campaign Information
13. Choose the currency you'll use to pay for your advertising.
14. Select your daily Google AdWords campaign budget. This is how much you are willing to spend per day on advertising. While you don't want to set it too high and overspend, you also don't want to set it so low that your ads won't show up enough to generate business. As a starting point, try for $10 a day and lower or raise it as needed.
15. Choose your cost per click (CPC), or how much you are willing to pay each time someone clicks on your ad. Try entering a low number to begin with and click the 'Get Estimate' button to find out if your ads will display at that price and where your ad will show in comparison to similar ads. You may have to raise your price for better positioning.
16. Review your ad and make sure everything is correct. Click 'Continue' when you are done.
17. Choose whether you are a new user or have an existing Google account. Complete the following steps if you are a new user.
18. Enter your email address and choose a password. Then enter the security word shown and click on the 'Create Account' button.
19. Go to your email in-box and open the confirmation email from Google. Click the activation link and sign into your new AdWords account.
20. Click on the link to the fields for your billing information. Your ads will not begin showing until this last step is completed.
21. Choose your country and time zone.
22. Choose your preferred payment method.
23. Read and agree to Google's terms of service.
24. Enter your credit card or bank information and your billing address.
25. Indicate from the options your type of business.
26. Click 'Save' to activate your account.
27. Your Google AdWords account is now created and your ads will begin displaying shortly.
