How to Run Both Broad Phrase Keywords in Adwords





1. Log into your Google Adwords account.
2. Click the “New Campaign” button. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferred campaign settings. Click the “Save and Continue” button at the bottom of the page.

3. Type the name of the desired ad group in the “Ad group name” box. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the “Create an ad” section to set up your ad.
4. Scroll down to the “Keyword” section of the page. Enter the keywords you would like to use for this ad in the “Enter one keyword per line” box. If you want the keyword(s) to function like a broad keyword, simply type the word or phrase then press “Enter” to jump to the next line. For example, if you type “shoe sale” (without the quotation marks) your ad could appear when Google users also enter similar term queries such as “sale on shoes.”If you want the keyword to function like a phrase keyword, encase the keyword(s) in quotation marks. For example, if you type “shoe sale” (with the quotation marks) your ad could only appear when Google users enter queries that use that exact term such as “50% off shoe sale.”
5. Click the “Save ad group” button at the bottom of the page.
6. Open the “Billing” drop-down menu at the top of the page. Select “Make Payments.” Follow the on-screen instructions to fund your Adwords campaign.
