How to Promote Affiliate Products Without A Website

1. Join Forums and discussion groupsDo a quick Google search and find a few forums that are related to the product you will be promoting. Find at least 2 or 3 that have a high page rank and register with them. Once you register set up your signature line which is where you will put your name and affiliate links. After you do that it is time to get active. Start posting questions, comments and answers to other member's questions. Don't promote your products in the body of your posts. Simply write a valuable informative response and people will read your signature line and more than likely visit your site. The more active you are the better. Try to visit the forums a few times a week. Once people see that you are a valuable contributor they will start to trust you. Once you build trust you will begin to attract visitors to your affiliate links. The more visitors you get the more likely you are to get sales.
2. Writing ArticlesThis is probably the best way to generate a ton of targeted traffic to your affiliate products. If you write good informative articles you will get a decent amount of traffic to your site. Submit each article you write to several different directories. I personally submit my articles to 7 different directories.Ezinearticles.com
Ideamarketers.com
Articledashboard.com
Affsphere.com
Ehow.com (revenue sharing site)
Flixya.com (revenue sharing site)
Howhub.com (revenue sharing site)Your articles don't have to be long. 300-400 words will do just fine. Make sure you have a compelling title. If the title isn't interesting then people won't read the article which means you won't get any traffic or sales.Make sure your article has a good keyword density. This is how people will find your article when they use search engines such as Google or when they search on the article directory site.Once you finish writing your article you will have a box that is called the resource box. This is where you will put your affiliate links and any other information about the product you are promoting. The great thing about articles is that they stay in the archives of these directories forever so you can still be getting sales from your articles years after you have written them. Doesn't get any better than that.

3. Linkreferral.comLinkreferral is a free traffic exchange site. You have to participate on a regular basis in order to get a decent amount of traffic. Here is how it works. You have to visit 30 sites in the network a day, comment on 5 of them, favorite 1 of them and make a post in the forums. Once you have done that you will receive 30-60 unique visitors to your site a day. Not bad for about 30-40 minutes worth of work.
4. Create a squidoo pageIt is true that you do not need your own personal website in order to promote affiliate products. The problem is that not all article directories will let you send their visitors to an affiliate website. Ezinearticles.com is one of them. Ezinearticles.com gets A LOT of traffic so it would be a great idea to submit articles to their site. To make sure your articles get published and to get around the fact that you can't send visitors directly to an affiliate website you can simply set up a squidoo page.Squidoo is a very high ranking site. Put together a good squidoo page by posting articles (the same ones you post in the article directories) and other information about the product you are promoting. From there you can send them to your affiliate site.
