How to Add an Advertisement to Web Pages

1. Determine what kind of advertisement you are going to add to the page. If you are using an advertisement from an ad network, they should provide you with the code you must add to your pages. If you are selling an ad space on your own, then you must create the code yourself.
2. Determine where you are going to insert the advertisement code. Look on your Web page and find the best spot to insert the advertisement.

3. Find the spot you are going to place the advertisement in your Web pages source code. If you are using a WYSIWYG Web editor (such as Dreamweaver or NVU), open your Web page in the editor. Click on the button that says 'Source' or 'Source Code.' If you code your pages by hand, then open the file in Notepad.
4. Scroll through the lines of code to find the spot you selected for your advertisement. The code is written in the order that it appears on the page.
5. Copy and paste the code into the editor or Notepad. Unless you are adding the code to a CSS style sheet; you must repeat this for every page you want the advertisement to show up on.
6. Save the file, and preview it to ensure that you placed the advertisement code in the proper spot.

How to Get Paid For Referrals

1. Sign up for all of the referral programs I have listed in the resource section. These are the ones I use and these are the ones that allow me to make passive income every day, whether I am sick or feeling well. I have six kids, so i didn't bother listing the ones I haven't made any money on. Otherwise the list would be forever long and you'd be wasting your time.
2. Create a file on your desktop with all of your referral codes so that whenever you need one you don't have to return to the site, login and copy it again. Keeping it handy ensures that you will not forget to use it as often.

3. Add the signup links into your email signatures, and your message forum signatures.
4. If you have a blog, you should consider writing a blog post about each of these programs in order to share them with your readers. Even if your mother is your only reader, you'll still get paid if she signs up.
5. If you write here at ehow, place your signup links in the resources section of every article you write.
6. If you have a profile on myspace or facebook, linkedin or anywhere else online, make sure you use the referral code URL in your profile, so that your visitors and friends can help you make money by signing up for the referral program
7. Consider sending out an email to everyone in your address book and letting them know about your referrals. A lot of people will sign up if they know that you're going to get credit for it. That's what friends do. Plus, if they decide to refer people it will help them, too. You could change lives with one email.
8. Use Twitter to notify your followers about your earnings and get paid for more referrals. When I tweeted about my passive Bukisa earnings, I signed up a few more referrals. http;//www.tinyurl.com/bukisa try it. My twitter ID is http;//www.twitter.com/mrshannigan , so you can see how that works.
9. Use the graphics that these websites provide for you, place them on your blog or other personal websites. You can create a blog for free on blogger, and on several other websites. The free version of Wordpress won't allow you to place ads, but other free services do allow it.
10. Change your email signature regularly, so that your readers don't get tired of seeing the same old thing
11. If you use a blog subscription program, consider placing a link to one of your referral programs in your footer so that every one of your email readers can have the opportunity to click on it, too.
12. Share your link whenever you hear of someone who is in need of money. if you have a specific page on your website where all of your referral links are located, have that URL handy to share with people in the real world. The checker at the bank, your hairdresser, anyone. People who aren't online a lot have no idea what's available and you can totally change someone's life by introducing them to the wonderful world of online income. In fact, I wish I had met you three years ago. Darnit, you can't let this happen. Quit wasting your time and sign up. Spread the word. Share the news. A new day is upon us and it's up to YOU to... whatever, i lost my train of thought but I'm sure you knew where I was going with that, right? Right down to that resources section. Have a great day.

How to Keep CPCs Down on Facebook

1. Determine whether the Facebook audience would be good for your product or service. The website now encompasses a vast array of people, rather than just college students as it did before.
2. Discuss your goals and advertising model with Facebook. You may want to work with a search engine or a specific website that may be more closely related to your product.

3. Ask for the advertising plans they offer. Suggest that they show you some statistics and client examples from each if they haven't already. According to Facebook Ads, you can 'set the daily budget you are comfortable with [and] adjust your daily budget at anytime.'
4. Opt for a flat-rate plan initially if you think it will be more cost-effective. You'll only pay based on actual clicks or number of people that go to your ad or website.
5. Explore the bid-based variety if you see a possible advantage. If your product is of the niche variety with few competitors, this may be a better option. If several other companies will be placing similar ads on Facebook and you're working with a smaller budget, this would be the lesser of the two options.
6. Make your offer and set up the payment and advertising model. Check your traffic levels after the ad has been implemented to find out its effectiveness.

How to Make Legit Money on the Internet

1. Set up an informative blog website devoted to a specific topic. A themed blog that contains helpful information on a topic can attract visitors, make them want to return and help establish your website as an authority on the subject. You can use online tools, such as Google Trends or Yahoo Buzz, to look for popular topics on which you may want to create your blog. Once the website is set up, joining advertising networks can bring in revenue from ads that the network displays on your site. Advertising networks include Google AdSense, Clicksor, Bidvertiser, Chitika and Kontera. When visitors click on these ads, you earn a certain amount of the advertiser's revenue and are paid at a set time every month, depending on the pay cycle set by the advertising network.
2. Set up a legitimate freelancing business if you have some skill or can provide services to clients in some way. You can freelance in virtually any area in which you're skilled or have professional expertise, including Web or graphic design, secretary or telemarketing work, sales or website copy writing, consulting or counseling. Freelance websites, such as Guru, Elance and oDesk, allow freelancers to sign up and create profiles so that potential employers and clients can find them. You can also set up your own website to showcase your work and provide a way for clients to order services and communicate with you.

3. Post content to revenue-sharing websites. Revenue-sharing websites allow members to create content, such as articles or videos, and post the content to the revenue-sharing site. Examples of these sites include Squidoo, HubPages, Flixya, Triond and Helium. The revenue-sharing site earns money from advertisements that it displays on the same pages as the member's content. As a member, you receive a certain percentage of this revenue, dependent on the terms the site offers. Revenue-sharing sites often pay on a weekly or monthly basis. Your accumulated earnings are often deposited to your PayPal account, or you are sent a check.

How to Make Money Using Blogger.com

1. Sign up with a Google AdSense account. AdSense works by analyzing the text you have on your page, then displaying text ads that may be relevant to your content. When a visitor clicks on one of these links, AdSense pays you a small amount. You need a high-traffic blog in order to make money with AdSense, because each click isn't worth much on an individual basis -- you need a lot of clicks.
2. Provide a service through your blog. For instance, you might blog about business advice while also offering a consulting service. Attract people to your blog, get them interested, then sell them whatever service you're offering. The service can be anything from consulting to writing to graphic design.

3. Join an affiliate marketing program, such as Amazon.com. This requires that you set up a link to a particular product on your page. Every time someone clicks on your link and purchases a product, you get a cut of the proceeds. The percentage of the cut varies depending on the deal you've set up with the product's owner.
4. Create a tip jar for donations, such as the 'Buy Me a Coffee' one that Chris Garrett used for ChrisG.com. Tip jars work best when you give the reader a reason to donate -- such as to buy you a coffee, or help fund a trip to help people overseas -- and when you have a large readership. Expect only a small percentage of people to donate.
5. Sell branded products from your blog. For instance, if you have a blog dedicated to the pictures you've taken of animals in Africa, you can sell prints of the photos you put up, or use a website like CafePress.com to put these images on T-shirts or mugs, then sell these products.
6. Write and sell an ebook through your blog. Generally, this would be an ebook about something related to your blog, providing a more in-depth look at some of the topics you've covered in your posts.

How to Make Money with NeoBux

1. First step is to sign up for neobux. It is easy and free to join. Go to http://www.neobux.com/?r=bpoepsel and follow the instructions. Once you complete all the steps, you will be sent an e-mail verification. Once you verify you will be able to access your account and start clicking ads.

3. Another way of getting referrals is by renting them. Neobux has devised a program where you can rent referrals. This method however costs money. The price is different depending on how many you rent. This is not a necessity and it is better to have direct referrals then rented ones, since they are free.

1. Sign up for Google AdSense. If you already have a Google account, you can sign in using that email address and password. If you don't have a Google account, you can sign up for one by clicking the 'Sign Up Now' button. You'll need to enter website information, contact information and agree to the AdSense policies.

4. Choose the size, colors, font, corner style and what you want to display if no relevant ads are available. When you're satisfied with your choices, click 'Continue.'

6. Name the unit--'Header Banner,' for example--and click 'Submit and Get Code.' Copy the code that appears. Open a new tab in your browser and go to your website. Each website is different, so you'll have to figure out how to edit the site's appearance. Your website's Help section can provide more information if you don't already know how to edit your content. 6. SIGN UP FOR AFFILIATES PROGRAMSThere are several web sites out there that will pay you to sell their merchandise. You do not have to do a thing but post links to their information in your resources section of your articles or if you have a website you can set up an online store or links to individual items.Again this is free to join, and you get paid per click on the sale of their merchandise, you do not have to box, ship or otherwise handle the goods you list for sale.If you use Tweetbucks to shorten those long url's to the affiliate merchandise you often receive more per click than you would have otherwise received by simply using Tweetbucks to shorten those long url's.

You know that Amazon.com sells various shades and types of eye shadow, so you can log onto your affiliates account, locate eye shadows and pick a couple to post onto your resources section on your articles. Now if you use tweetbucks to shorten that long url you can then be paid anytime someone clicks on that link, then if they actually buy something while using your link you will receive a commission off of that sale. Great right?
But how do you figure out what to use out of that HUGE url that Amazon.com gives you?
Well first ehow.com does not support images so click on text only, then highlight that text by moving your mouse over the text and right clicking and then click select all, then copy. This information you will post into the box on the right side of where you enter the web address. Then go back to your Amazon.com page and you will see that there will be a ' followed by http:// then a long url and another set of ' this information is what you will highlight and copy to place again into your tweetbucks url shortener web page. Now your link will pay more per click than it would have if you just put it straight into your links box.

How to Make Money Using Adwords Keyword Tool

1. Find a medium through which to publish online — one that will allow you to run Adwords ads. The obvious and simplest choice is to start a blog, something of which Google is very fond. Start a Blogger or Wordpress blog for free and start creating content.
2. Use the Adwords keyword tool in order to help you earn the most amount of money online. There's two ways this tool will help you. The first is is finding keywords that receive high search volume. If you write your content around themes that don't receive any searches, you won't make money. Get high search volume topics, such as health or personal finance, and write around those central themes.

3. Secondly, use the Adwords keyword tool to find keyword phrases that have high cost per click. If advertisers are paying several dollars for each click, you will earn more money every time someone clicks those ads.
4. Sign up for Google's AdSense advertising program and insert the given code to run the ads on your website. Google will browse your site to run ads that are related to the keywords you are using. These are inobtrusive, relevant ads that blend right in with your website. Every time someone clicks one of those ads, you'll make money.

How to Make Money With Provided Website Advertising

1. Determine whether you wish to use a third-party advertising service or sell the ad space on your own. Selling ads on your own is challenging since you have to take the steps to court companies that may be interested in advertising on your site. This strategy gives you the most control over the ads that appear on your site and also means that you do not have to share any revenue. Signing up with a third-party service is a much easier route, resulting in faster monetary gains, but with the potential to make less money in the long term. If you are new to the world of Web marketing, choosing a third-party service at first is probably a smarter choice.
2. Decide between banner ads and text ads. This choice is partly an aesthetic one, though it will affect your income as well. Typically, Internet users do not like to be bombarded with flashy ads when visiting a website. Text ads are unobtrusive and can be easily inserted into your web design in a way that does not compromise the overall look of your site. Banner ads are more eye-catching, resulting in more potential user visits, and will fetch a higher price than text ads.

3. Integrate ad space into your Web design. Although you may not want your site's visitors to see ads before they see your own content, you similarly do not want to stick ads out of sight at the bottom of the page. The better located the ad space, the more you can charge for it.
4. Set a payment system for your ads. Three main payment styles are used for online advertising. A cost per click model requires payment each time an ad gets clicked on. A cost per impression model takes in a standard rate for every 1,000 views a page receives. You can also charge a flat rate for ad space, similar to renting a billboard.

3. Design the look of your website by choosing a template. Try to choose an eye-catching template, and follow the prompts to create as unique-looking of a website as possible. Both Blogger and Wordpress allow you to customize the look of your website by changing background colors, inserting graphic headers and stylizing text once your template has been chosen.
4. Post your gossip. Click 'New Post' and begin typing. Save and publish. Remember, the key to attracting visitors lies in not only the accuracy but the entertainment value of the news you are sharing. Flavor the tidbits with witty comments and a casual manner (such as 'Oh, say it ain't so! Rumor has it that...').
5. Purchase a domain name. You can keep the website URL address assigned to your website, but a shorter domain name will be easier to promote. Visit a domain purchasing website such as GoDaddy (see Resources). Search for existing domain names based on the title of your blog. Domain names can be purchased for as low as $1 a month.
6. Promote your website. Visit forums and message boards and comment, leaving the link to your website as a signature. The more you post and engage in conversation with other users, the more likely they will be to visit your link. Post the link to your website on social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. If you're inclined to spend money advertising your website, you can purchase advertising space on Google and Yahoo! so that web searchers will see your website in the top links returned after searching for specific keywords (see Resources).
7. Update your website often. The best gossip websites are updated daily, and sometimes multiple times a day. Visitors will keep coming back for more if they see that you post news often.

How to Restore a Deleted Ad Account

1. Never appeal immediately. Spend some time considering the best approach.
2. Read through the cancellation e-mail from the advertising network carefully and be clear about the reason for cancellation.

3. Study the advertising network's program policies and terms and conditions thoroughly and identify where your website or blog may have breached them.
4. Correct all problems with your website before appealing. If in doubt, err on the side of caution.
5. Write your appeal. This must clearly demonstrate your understanding of how and where you breached policies and detail the action taken to correct the problems.
6. Provide supporting information such as server logs if you are appealing against cancellation due to invalid clicks. The advertising network will need to be sure that you have identified the source of the clicks and have taken action to prevent them from happening again.

How to Publish With Google AdSense

1. Sign up for an AdSense account by visiting google.adsense.com, and clicking 'Sign up now.' Complete the online form which asks you a few questions, including your website address.
2. Log in to your new AdSense account. You will be presented with a report of your AdSense earnings so far, along with some other information regarding your ads, such as the amount of impressions your ads have received and their estimated revenue per 1,000 impressions.

3. Click 'AdSense Setup' from the menu bar near the top of the page. Then click 'Get Ads'. This is where you create and customize your ads, ready for publishing on your site. The pages that follow allow you to define whether you want image or text ads, and to make a number of customizations to their appearance. Select the size and shape of the ad you want, and then choose the colors and fonts. A preview shows you how the ad will look when live. When you're satisfied with how it looks, click 'Continue.'
4. Select 'Add new channel.' When prompted, input a name for this ad. This should be something descriptive so that when you are looking at your earnings reports you'll be able to see easily which ads are bringing in the revenue. Click 'Continue' when you've chosen a name.
5. Click 'Submit and Get Code.' The next page that appears presents you with some JavaScript to insert into your website's HTML source code. Some knowledge of HTML is required to position the ad unit where you want it to go. If you are unsure, either seek advice from someone with HTML knowledge, or download the source code of the web page to your computer and load this file into a browser. This allows you to test the positioning until you have it in the right place. When you know where you want it to go on your live site, copy and paste the code into the relevant location.
6. Load your Web page in a browser and check the results. If an empty space appears instead of your ad, wait a few minutes and check again. It may take a little time before Google serves the ads to your site.
