How to Add Text to a Footer in Joomla





1. Browse to the URL address for your Web hosting control panel. Log in to the control panel with your username and password.
2. Launch 'File Manager,' 'FTP Tool,' File Editor' or other similar application in the web hosting control panel.

3. Navigate to the 'Includes' folder in the root directory of your Joomla-enabled website. Double-click the folder name to view its contents.
4. Scroll down to the 'footer.php' file. Highlight the file name, and then click the 'Edit' or 'Change' button on the file manager tool bar.
5. Scroll down to the point in the 'footer.php' file that begins with the text '//NOTE -- Change this section of text to suit your site needs' or something similar. The exact text shown in the file will depend upon the version of Joomla you are using on your site. Regardless, the text should always start with '//NOTE.'
6. Change the footer text following the '?>' symbol that follows the intro text on the line. Delete the original text or add hyperlinks to make the text more appropriate for your site. For instance, your Joomla 'footer.php' file may contain the text 'Powered by Joomla.' In this case, you can delete the text for a blank footer. Alternatively, change it to something like 'Copyright MySite.com' or any other text you want to display at the bottom of your webpages.
7. Click the 'Save' button on the menu tool bar at the top of the screen. Close the text editor and the control panel. Open your Joomla website to review the changes in the footer text at the bottom of your home page.

That means that as soon as someone new visits your blog, their statistics will be counted towards your total number of visitors. As well as tracking the number of visits to your Wordpress blog, you can view details like which search terms visitors used to find your blog and even where in the word they are located, all of which can be accessed through your Wordpress dashboard.
2. Install the Wordpress.com Stats widget. With this free plug-in, you can view simple information about your visitor statistics, including the total number of visitors and which pages are most popular with readers. The plug-in presents the data it collects using a small chart in your admin bar if you are using Wordpress version 3.1 or later, meaning you don't have to sift through reams of statistics to find out what you need to know.

Google will then start counting the number of visitors to your blog and you will be able to view statistics such as how long each visitor stayed on your blog, how many pages they looked at and which country or area they are from. Although Google Analytics is free, you will have to log into your account through the Google website to view your data; you can't do this through the Wordpress website.

5. Increase your website traffic. The more traffic you have, the more likely people are to see your ads and click on them. Higher traffic can also allow you to demand higher prices for direct advertisements. To write a review, they will need to select your business in Google Maps and choose the button that says 'Write a review.' 1. Close any audio-capable applications, including any media players and Web browsers with multimedia plugins. If following this step requires you to close the browser you're using to read this article, print it out and refer to the rest of the steps on paper.
2. Open the audio category of your Linux distribution's applications menu and click 'QJackCtl' to launch the graphical user interface for the JACK Audio Connection Kit. OS X users should click on the QJackCtl launcher icon. Click 'Start' to begin the JACK server. If you get an error message stating that 'the playback device hw:0 is already in use,' return to Step 1 and make sure you have closed all audio applications. If you can't pinpoint the application giving you trouble, restart your computer and launch QJackCtl in a new session.

3. Launch Ardour and name your session when prompted. After Ardour has loaded completely, select 'Show Editor Mixer' from the 'View' menu.
4. Right-click in the black space above the fader in the docked editor mixer to choose a plugin to load as a pre-fader insert. If you'd like to load a plugin as a post-fader insert, right-click in the black space below the fader instead.
5. Select 'New Plugin,' then 'Plugin Manager' from the context menu that appears to launch the Plugin Manager -- a complete list of all plugins installed on your system. In the standard version of Ardour for Linux, the Plugin Manger will list LADSPA and LV2 plugins, which use the Linux Audio Developer's Simple Plugin API. The Plugin Manager for the OS X version of Ardour will also list Audio Units, or AU, plugins. On the Vestige version of Ardour for Linux, the Plugin Manager will list plugins in the Virtual Studio Technology, or VST format as well.

1. Navigate in your Web browser to the Google AdWords Keyword Tool at adwords.google.com. Click the 'Traffic Estimator' menu selection on the left side of the page.
2. Click the 'Word or phrase' field and type all the keywords and keyword phrases that you are considering bidding on. Press 'Enter' to put each keyword phrase on a new line.

3. Select the 'Max CPC $' field, and type the maximum figure that you will bid on clicks for the entered keywords. For example, type '1' to enter a maximum bid of $1.
4. Click the 'Daily Budget' field and enter the amount that you are willing to spend on your AdWords campaign per day.
5. Click the field above the 'Estimate' button and type the letters displayed in the image above.
6. Select the 'Estimate' button. The area below the button displays each keyword phrase. Next to each keyword phrase, the tool shows the number of people who search for that phrase every month, the position your advertisement would be displayed in against your competitors at the current bid level, how many clicks the advertisement would be expected to receive and how much each click would cost. Use this information to determine which keywords you should bid on.
