How to Create Multiple Streams of Income Online

1. Create a niche website. The more specific the topic of the website, the better your chances of earning higher income. Choose a topic that you're knowledgeable and passionate about, and start creating content related to your topic. Monetize your site with ads relevant to your site's topic using Google AdSense or by joining an ad network (see Resources below).
2. Sign up for an email marketing service, such as Constant Contact or iContact, that will help you manage an email mailing list (see Resources below). Create a signup box for your website so that your website visitors can sign up to receive updates from you. Send out a regular newsletter packed with useful information related to your niche topic. You can place ads directly in your newsletter, or promote other people's products for an affiliate commission.

3. Create a blog related to a niche topic. It can be the same topic as your website, or something else that you're interested in. Stay abreast of the most current news and information on your topic and make regular posts to your blog. Help to create a sense of community among your readers by encouraging and responding to comments. Monetize your blog with ads, through an ad network or Google AdSense (see Resources below).
4. Write articles related to topics that interest you and publish them to sites that offer revenue sharing programs, such as Associated Content or eHow (see Resources below). Be sure to follow the guidelines for the specific site that you're writing for, and publish as many articles as you have time to write. The more articles you publish, the more revenue you could potentially earn.
5. Write content for other business websites for a fee. Once you've become a skilled content creator, it won't be hard to get other businesses interested in having you help them create content for their sites, especially if you know how to optimize the content so that it's search engine friendly.
6. Create an ebook and offer it for sale on your website, through your blog or through your mailing list. If you have specialized knowledge in a certain area, your ebook will be filled with valuable information that others would be willing to pay for. You can also allow other website owners to promote your ebook for a percentage of the sale, otherwise known as an affiliate program (see Resources below).

How to Build a Free Complex Website

1. Sign up for a free Web host like Wordpress. Wordpress has the advantage of having the Wordpress content management system preinstalled for you. Over 10 million websites use Wordpress as of July 2010. Even some professional publications, like Anderson Cooper 360's blog, use Wordpress.
2. Change your website's default theme. Your website automatically starts out with a very basic blue design with a few basic widgets on the side of your Web page. There are literally thousands of free themes for you to use. Click 'add new theme' and search for a theme. You can filter searches by color, number of columns and more. It should be very easy to find a theme that fits your website's niche.

3. Install plug-ins. Click 'add plug-in' and search for a plug-in. Plug-ins add new functions to your website--for example, the 'Aksimet' plug-in filters out spam messages from your website. It is up to you to decide what is needed for your site. You are the webmaster.
4. Add content to your site. Click 'add post' or 'add page' to create new posts and Web pages for your site. Common basic pages you should provide are the frequently asked questions (FAQ) page, contact information page and 'about us' page.

How to Find Keywords

1. Search for the right keyword tool. Many are free, while some charge a fee, but most depend on the same source to compile their information: the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. Google has built one of the most informative tools for advertisers and publishers alike, and it's the best place to start looking for keywords. The tool is free to use.
2. Start with topics you know. Enter one or two keywords into the search box at the top of the keyword tool and hit search. You'll receive a list of keywords related to your initial search terms, along with the current competition and the previous month's search volume.

3. Find keywords using Google's search engine, or test the popularity of the keywords you have selected. Visit Google's homepage to use their search engine and type in your keywords, one at a time. Google has a function that 'completes' your possible search term, based on popularity. For example, if the keyword you enter is 'shoes,' Google suggest terms like 'shoes for crews' or 'shoes on sale' in the drop-down box. Because these results are based on popularity, it's a great way to find potential keywords.

How to Earn Money with Pay To Click

1.

SAFETY FIRST! If you don't already have your computer protected, go to http://pack.google.com and get yourself a copy of Spyware Doctor. It is a free product. Download it and set it up to run once a day to make sure you don't pick up any nasties.
2.

Go to your search engine -- like google or yahoo -- and type in 'pay to click sites' or 'PTC sites'. You will find reviews of many sites and you can decide which ones to join.

3.

GET PAID! Most of the sites will pay you to either your Paypal account or your AlertPay account. These accounts are free and you can transfer your earnings from them right to your bank account.
4. Bookmark your PTC sites and visit them once or twice a day. Click the ads and remember to request payout once you have reached the required number of clicks.
5. You can earn more by referring your friends. When they register using your special link, and they click an ad, you will receive a tiny bonus for each one of their clicks. Kind of like free money! :)

How to Make Money Writing for Revenue

1. Consider writing for Triond. Triond accepts online content in any form, and also accepts photographs and audio recordings. There is a short wait while Triond reviews your work before they publish it. After that, they share 50 percent of the earnings on your article.
2. Write for InfoBarrel. This site gives you 75 percent of the Adsense revenue generated by your articles. They accept multiple content forms from their freelance writers, including how-to articles.

3. Sign up with Squidoo. With this site, you can create pages that are called 'lenses' with content, links, photos and more. You get 50 percent of the revenue generated by your lenses.
4. Write for Bukisa. Bukisa is relatively new on the revenue-sharing landscape. You can write articles or upload presentations or videos. Bukisa pays based on page views, not straight ad revenue. The amount of money you get per page view depends on how the site is doing as a whole, so contributing good content counts.
5. Consider signing up with Helium. Helium offers small upfront payments for certain articles, and also offers residual income on top of that. Helium is a very involved site, meaning writers are expected to rate other writers' articles. Your articles also have to rate highly in comparison to other similar articles in order to earn money. It's worth it for a lot of writers, because Helium is a respected site and they also have weekly contests that pay up to $60 per winning article. They also have a marketplace where clients request content, and writers battle it out to write the best pieces to get picked by the client. Some of these clients pay $100 or more per article.
6. Consider writing for Suite101. This freelance writing site has been around for more than a decade, and has a reputation for paying well. Articles must be at least 400 words and written in the third-person. Each article goes live immediately, but is also reviewed, post-publication, by an editor who will help you make your article the best it can be. Suite101 editors help their writers with proper keywords, grammar and everything else so that you earn the most you can from your articles.
7. Set up an account with Associated Content. Like Helium, Associated Content offers small up-front fees for certain original articles, on top of the residual income. The first pieces you submit are likely to be in the queue for a long time, however. Once the editors approve them, your wait time will be decreased. Associated Content ranks particularly high with Google.
8. Write original news articles for Orato. This site, like Suite101, bills itself as an online magazine for freelance writers. They share 20 percent of the revenue from your articles with you.
9. Consider writing for FireHow. This site is similar to eHow, in that it asks for how-to articles. FireHow is another newcomer to the residual income world of freelance writing sites.
10. Write articles for HubPages. HubPages is similar to Squidoo. Articles on HubPages are known as 'hubs,' and can be a combination of links, photos, affiliate links and content. HubPages gives their freelance writers 60 percent of the revenue generated by Adsense.
11. Consider setting up an account with Xomba. This site has two parts: content and social bookmarking. They pay 50 percent of the revenue generated by Adsense. Xomba has a lively community and is another place where freelance writers can earn residual income.

How to Increase Adsense Earnings

1. **Take Google's Optimization Tips to Heart**On your Adsense account page is a tab labeled 'Resources', and under this tab is a link to 'Optimization Tips'. Memorize these!Seriously, Google's own advice is your best starting point for increasing your Adsense income. They cover topics like which color palettes to use; where to place ads on your website; image vs text ads; optimizing for particular sites, like blogs and forums. They also cover use of some of Google's powerful tools, like channels and Google Analytics.Spend a good amount of time here. This is clearly your best starting point for increasing your revenue from Adsense.
2. **Make Maximum Use of Your Content**One of the biggest challenges of building traffic on the web is knowing what you want to say, and finding the best way to say it.But once you've found your voice -- that is, now that you have solid content on the web -- don't keep it all in one place. There are several places where you can post similar (not identical!) material, draw additional traffic, and earn additional Adsense income. For instance, at Google Knol (knol.google.com), you can post informative articles on the topics you know best. Add your own Adsense ads to the Knol, and you have a new source of income. For less scholarly sorts of content, you can post at Xomba.com, and once again, include your Adsense code to generate new income.Posting at both Knol or Xomba is relatively quick and easy, especially when you already have your topic already thought out and ready to go.

3. **Practice Product Placement**I've found it useful to mention product names when possible, as long as they are consistent with the content on my sites. The names act as keywords that offer a triple benefit of increasing traffic, improving search engine rankings, and attracting high paying ads. For instance, I'll say Adwords right here, just to throw in that as a keyword.
4. **Move Your Visitors**Make your viewers move around the page, so that they're sure to come across your ads.You can't point them directly to the ads, of course, as that's not in keeping with Adsense terms of use. But you can certainly direct readers to different parts of your website with phrases like: 'See the Resources section directly below' or similar such wording. As a matter of fact, be sure to see the Resources section directly below, for more useful information. Also be sure to see the More Articles Like This, and Related Articles, elsewhere on this page for more tips on optimizing Adsense earnings.
