How to Make Your Own Gossip Web Pages

1. Focus your ideas. Decide what type of gossip you will be promoting and develop a title for your website. For example, if your website will focus on sports celebrity gossip, you can call it 'The Bull Pen' or 'Out of Bounds.' Try to be creative with your title. This will also help you later when choosing the design of your website and when marketing it to others.
2. Create an account with a web hosting site such as Blogger or Wordpress (see Resources). Click 'Create a Blog' or 'Sign Up Now' and follow the registration prompts.

3. Design the look of your website by choosing a template. Try to choose an eye-catching template, and follow the prompts to create as unique-looking of a website as possible. Both Blogger and Wordpress allow you to customize the look of your website by changing background colors, inserting graphic headers and stylizing text once your template has been chosen.
4. Post your gossip. Click 'New Post' and begin typing. Save and publish. Remember, the key to attracting visitors lies in not only the accuracy but the entertainment value of the news you are sharing. Flavor the tidbits with witty comments and a casual manner (such as 'Oh, say it ain't so! Rumor has it that...').
5. Purchase a domain name. You can keep the website URL address assigned to your website, but a shorter domain name will be easier to promote. Visit a domain purchasing website such as GoDaddy (see Resources). Search for existing domain names based on the title of your blog. Domain names can be purchased for as low as $1 a month.
6. Promote your website. Visit forums and message boards and comment, leaving the link to your website as a signature. The more you post and engage in conversation with other users, the more likely they will be to visit your link. Post the link to your website on social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. If you're inclined to spend money advertising your website, you can purchase advertising space on Google and Yahoo! so that web searchers will see your website in the top links returned after searching for specific keywords (see Resources).
7. Update your website often. The best gossip websites are updated daily, and sometimes multiple times a day. Visitors will keep coming back for more if they see that you post news often.

How to Restore a Deleted Ad Account

1. Never appeal immediately. Spend some time considering the best approach.
2. Read through the cancellation e-mail from the advertising network carefully and be clear about the reason for cancellation.

3. Study the advertising network's program policies and terms and conditions thoroughly and identify where your website or blog may have breached them.
4. Correct all problems with your website before appealing. If in doubt, err on the side of caution.
5. Write your appeal. This must clearly demonstrate your understanding of how and where you breached policies and detail the action taken to correct the problems.
6. Provide supporting information such as server logs if you are appealing against cancellation due to invalid clicks. The advertising network will need to be sure that you have identified the source of the clicks and have taken action to prevent them from happening again.

How to Publish With Google AdSense

1. Sign up for an AdSense account by visiting google.adsense.com, and clicking 'Sign up now.' Complete the online form which asks you a few questions, including your website address.
2. Log in to your new AdSense account. You will be presented with a report of your AdSense earnings so far, along with some other information regarding your ads, such as the amount of impressions your ads have received and their estimated revenue per 1,000 impressions.

3. Click 'AdSense Setup' from the menu bar near the top of the page. Then click 'Get Ads'. This is where you create and customize your ads, ready for publishing on your site. The pages that follow allow you to define whether you want image or text ads, and to make a number of customizations to their appearance. Select the size and shape of the ad you want, and then choose the colors and fonts. A preview shows you how the ad will look when live. When you're satisfied with how it looks, click 'Continue.'
4. Select 'Add new channel.' When prompted, input a name for this ad. This should be something descriptive so that when you are looking at your earnings reports you'll be able to see easily which ads are bringing in the revenue. Click 'Continue' when you've chosen a name.
5. Click 'Submit and Get Code.' The next page that appears presents you with some JavaScript to insert into your website's HTML source code. Some knowledge of HTML is required to position the ad unit where you want it to go. If you are unsure, either seek advice from someone with HTML knowledge, or download the source code of the web page to your computer and load this file into a browser. This allows you to test the positioning until you have it in the right place. When you know where you want it to go on your live site, copy and paste the code into the relevant location.
6. Load your Web page in a browser and check the results. If an empty space appears instead of your ad, wait a few minutes and check again. It may take a little time before Google serves the ads to your site.

How to Create a Pay

1. Create a website with content that will draw people in and keep them coming back. For a pay-per-click monetized site to work, it has to be content-rich so that advertising related to the content will be shown and the visitors to the site will find the ads relevant and helpful. It can be a website on any topic, but it is best to be focused one one particular topic and not many.
2. Sign up for Google AdSense or some other pay-per-click provider. Google AdSense is by far the main pay-per-click provider and generally has a history of working well. Signing up is free to anyone, and you simply need to provide your website information and copy the code from the provider onto your website. The code can easily be customized for different shapes and colors to match the website and to try to maximize potential.

3. Take the code from the pay-per-click site and integrate it into your website. Put the code in prominent positions on the site to attract people to click on the ads.
4. Advertise your website. To make money from pay-per-click, you need visitors to come to your site. You can attract customers by link sharing, word of mouth or more formal means of advertising.

How to Blog for Cash

1. Sign up with a paid blogging site. Some blogging sites pay you to blog. They pay a fixed amount for your first post each day and an additional amount for traffic to your blog. Your payments can go up if you increase the traffic to your blog. To be hired by one of these sites, you will need to submit a writing sample and idea for a blog.
2. Sign up for a Google AdSense account. If you already have an unpaying blog, sign up for a Google AdSense account and add the widget to your blog. You will be paid by Google for the traffic you bring to your page. The longer your traffic stays on your page, the more you will be paid. You earn more if your visitors click on the Google ad links.

3. Sign up for a pay-per-post (PPP) advertising site. PPP sites give you topics to write about and then pay you to write a post on your blog about the specific topic. You will need to have had a blog open for at least 90 days in order to get approved for PPP blogging. Apply to one of the many PPP sites out there, and sign up for their assignments. You may wish to let your readers know that you are doing this, since the subjects you will be writing about may have nothing to do with the subject of your blog. Look into PayPerPost.com and other PPP sites.
4. Sell advertising space on your blog. If you have a popular blog with a high volume of traffic, you may wish to sell or lease advertising space on your blog. You can decide what size the space is (this will depend on the widgets your blog service offers). You can post placeholder widgets on your site letting your visitors know they can rent that space for a certain amount per month.
5. Add an Amazon widget to your blog. If a reader clicks on the Amazon widget on your blog and buys a book or CD from Amazon, you will earn a commission.

How to Write for HubPages

Don't Have a Hub-Ache
1. Sign up for a free membership and skip to Step Three IF you want to write on HubPages and don't want to be employed by them.
2. Fill out HubPages' application, send them your PayPal email and wait for them to hire you. They will send you a long packet of writer's guidelines that you are responsible to follow. You must get your titles approved by a HubPages editor if you want to get paid for it. Then you can sign up for the free membership.

3. Choose a topic you love and know about well in order to write about it with any kind of authority and pizazz. You need to work out a title and a keyword that your article will center around. The best way to pick a title is by asking yourself what someone would enter into a search engine to find the unique information that your article will give them.
4. Write your article in the HubPages online form, on Microsoft Word or equivalent program. It saves time to just type your text directly into HubPages, then publish it and then copy and paste it into Word in order to find spelling errors and grammar mistakes.
5. Enter your content in blocks called capsules in order to make a single article on the web. You can rearrange the capsules in your order of preference from the menu at the extreme right of the screen.
6. Add a free stock image and a YouTube video in the appropriate capsules in order to get more money for your articles. Although you don't have to, it's considered polite to make a credit of the photographer or filmmaker's name.
7. HupPages allows for capsules of three popular affiliate marketing programs for eBay, Google and Amazon. If you are signed up for these programs, be sure to use the capsule feature to place targeted ads for your articles. Usually, all you have to do is enter a key word or your article title and the capsule automatically takes care of the rest.
8. Add appropriate tags (or category names) for your article. This helps makes it easier for readers to find your article. Usually, you just go over to the right hand side of the screen, enter a tag word in the appropriate blank, hit enter and the tag will pop up.
9. Promote your new HubPages article by linking it to your blog or to social bookmarking sites.
