How to Register With Google Adsense

1. Visit the Google AdSense registration page and click on the ldquo;Sign Up Nowrdquo; button to access the Google AdSense application.
2. Fill out the Google AdSense application that loads on the screen. Fill out the entire application and provide accurate information as requested by Google. You must provide a street address to receive payment from Google. Google will not make payments if only a PO box is provided. If you neglect to or refuse to provide a street address, you cannot sign up for Google AdSense. Be sure to read the Google AdSense policies at the end of the application to understand what you may and may not do when placing the advertising. Click the quot;Submitquot; button at the bottom of the page to register.

3. Set up your Google AdSense account once you register by looking into your account, and register each of your Web pages with Google Adsense. Google provides extensive tutorials explaining how to register your individual Web pages, so make sure you read those tutorials upon logging in your first time. Once you register each page, you must embed the code provided by Google AdSense on each page, where you want ads to appear. Also, Google provides detailed tutorials walking you through the process of embedding the code into a variety of sites and page designs.

How to Broadcast Live From Home

Setting Up the Streaming Account
1. Select a streaming media service, such as Ustream, Livestream or Facebook, for your broadcast. If you want to have a channel with only your broadcast, then Ustream or Livestream are easier to manage.
2. Fill in the details, such as the channel name, show name (if applicable), email address and regular contact details.

3. Write a description of your channel and/or show that tells the audience who you are and why they want to watch the show.
4. Verify the email that will be sent and you are set to start broadcasting.
Setting Up Equipment
5. Plug your video camera or webcam into the computer. This allows the streaming media server to find it.
6. Plug the microphone or mixer into the computer so it can be found.
7. Select 'Allow' when a prompt pops up on the channel page. This should give you a view of what your camera is seeing and microphone is picking up.
8. Adjust the levels on the microphone and placement of the camera for your broadcast. Do this with the headset on. If the headset is picking up your voice, your audience will hear it.
9. Press the 'Record' or 'Live' button and, after a short countdown, you will be on the air.
Helping Your Audience Find the Show
10. Set up the account to send a blast to your social networks whenever you are broadcasting live. This saves time from having to invite people individually.
11. Set up a hashtag for your Twitter followers to talk about the show. It can be something similar to #mediashow. This will allow for all the tweets to be in one place where everyone can follow them.
12. Use the chat feature to engage your audience. Some show hosts use it to field questions from their audience so they know what people want to know. It is also a great spot for your audience members to meet each other.
13. Blog about your show. If your blog is popular, or you want it to be, let people know about the show there. If allowed, embed the video on the blog so people don't have to go to a different page to watch it.

How to Make Money With Google Adsense On Blogger.com

1. Decide on a blog concept. Choose a topic you have knowledge about or interest in. To make money from a website, you must be able to generate traffic. Remember that authentic content brings in traffic, and good content is much easier to create if you are well acquainted with, or very interested in, the topic you are writing about. If you garden, for example, start a gardening blog. Consider three factors when making your final decision: 1) how many competitor blogs exist on the same topic, 2) how many Adsense ads are available for that topic, and 3) how likely are you to be able to create consistent, reader-worthy content for it.
2. Create branding. Choose a distinct name that is easy to remember. Check to see if the name you've chosen is available on Blogger.com, as well as on email and Twitter. If so, open accounts to secure the name before someone else does. Your Blogger.com URL will include the word 'blogspot,' but Blogger.com also offers the option of publishing to a domain instead of their free blogspot address. If the name you've chosen is available as a domain and you can afford the monthly web hosting cost, purchase your domain. Create an avatar or logo, and use the same one everywhere.

3. Build your blog. Spend some time researching and viewing successful blogs to study their layout. Blogger.com has user-friendly templates with gadgets that are easy to add. Insert features such as 'Followers,' which enables people to follow your blog and be notified when you post new content. For the protection of their advertisers, Adsense requires that your blog have legitimate content, so don't monetize your blog quite yet.
4. Create top-quality content that provides your readers with useful information. Write with proper grammar and spelling. Write short, concise, valuable posts that make readers want to bookmark your site and return. Use humor, but remain professional. Every published keystroke is potentially permanent, because your content can be copied and forwarded before you have a chance to edit or delete, so never say anything inflammatory or negative. Study search engine optimization, which is the art of designing and writing web content so that search engines can find it more easily, and infuse your writing with lots of searchable phrases that are relevant to your topic.
5. Enrich your site with imagery. Purchase stock photographs, or take photos yourself. Remember that when you 'right click, save-as' any photo from the web you are stealing, unless that photo is specifically marked free for use. Microstock agencies are more affordable than traditional stock photography or hiring a photographer, although for the reduced cost you lose image exclusivity and run the risk that images you purchase will be seen elsewhere. Browse 'free' sections of agencies to see if any of their featured images meet your requirements.
6. Monetize your blog. While logged in to your Dashboard, click on the 'Monetize' tab, and fill in the required information. Adsense will review your site for legitimacy and viable content. Once your blog has been approved, populate your site with ads.
7. Study Adsense rules very carefully, and follow them. Adsense disables accounts without notice for violation of their rules and policies. They have an appeal process, but there is no guarantee you will be reinstated; once you have lost your Adsense account, you cannot open another one.
8. Above-the-fold advertising is seen the most by newspaper readers, and the same applies to websites. Place at least one ad above the scroll line, so that your readers will see it without having to scroll down. Avoid inserting too many ads, as this will make your site appear spam-like.
9. Advertise your site. Network on line, via social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Leave comments on other blogs, but only if you have something constructive and positive to say about their content---don't just comment asking them to visit your site. Add your website address to your email signature, and ask your friends to pass it along.
10. Work daily. Add quality content on a regular basis. Three high quality posts per week are better than three quick and careless posts per day. On the days that you are not posting, network instead, as well as research and learn.
