How to Sell Internet Advertising on Your Website

1. Determine whether you want to sell advertising through a network or on your own. Beginners should consider an ad network such as Google AdSense or Text-Link-Ads while getting established and developing a readership. Larger, established websites can have good success selling ads directly. Decide how many ads you want and where you will place them. You want high visibility with minimal impact to the reader.
2. Create a PayPal account. Nearly all ad networks pay revenue through this service. If you sell your own ads, your vendors can pay you this way as well.

3. Create an account with an ad network. This ad network will give you instructions on how to place their ads on your site and will request your PayPal e-mail address so they can deposit revenue.
4. Create spaces for the ads on your website and put ads in those spaces. Even big sites will benefit from placeholder ad network ads, as these allow potential advertisers to see how their own piece will look. If you do not want to sell your own ads, this is all you need to do.
5. Determine how much you will charge for your ads. Consider the size of your blog, your niche audience and the amount of traffic you receive. Look at competitor's websites and find out how much they charge for their ads. Price yours similarly.
6. Create an 'Advertise' page on your site or a 'Contact Me' link for potential advertisers to inquire about your rates and subscribe to advertising.
7. If you like, contact potential advertisers to sell them ads. You will need to present your website and its audience, describe your traffic flow and list your rates in three to five paragraphs.

How to Make Money Using Google Adsense Online

1. Sign up with Google AdSense and create an account. Signing up is free.
2. Determine a goal for what you want to earn using AdSense. If you want to make money online and you want to earn a lot, make sure your goal is realistic. Consider that to earn between $1 and $2 per page, you may need two or more websites to meet the numbers.

3. Begin to build keyword-rich pages containing well researched, profitable money-making keywords, and get tons of high quality links to your website. For example, if your site is about topics, such as debt consolidation, web hosting or asbestos-related cancer, you'll earn much more per click than if it's about free things. Choose keywords that are high in demand and low in supply, so do some careful keyword research before you build your pages.
4. Promote and advertise your website. There are lots of free promotional programs and advertising sites you can use to start building traffic. Make money online with Google AdSense, choose the right keywords, and promote.

How to Make Money Online in Canada

1. Sell items through Amazon.ca. The site is the Canadian version of Amazon.com, and it has all the features of the American Website. Canadians can sell their books, movies and CDs through the site's merchant program. They can also sign up to have their own product listings and sell larger items through the Website like furniture.
2. Sign up with eBay.ca to sell through Canada's own eBay site. The site works just like the U.S. eBay site, but it's geared toward Canadians, and all transactions are in Canadian dollars. If you don't want to sell through the Canadian site, Canadians are eligible to sell through the U.S. eBay site as well. Selling through the American site gives Canadians access to a larger pool of buyers.

3. Use AdSense to make money. AdSense is a Google pay-per-click ad program that Canadians are eligible to join. After signing up for the program through Google, place the AdSense code generated for you on your blog or Website. You will be paid every time someone clicks on one of the ads that were placed by the code. The minimum payout is $100. Some Websites, like HubPages, are open to Canadians and pay a share of AdSense revenues to anyone who writes items for the site.
4. Write for About or Suite101. Both sites accept Canadian writers, and both sites pay Canadians at the same rate that they pay American writers. About.com pays a minimum monthly salary as well as bonuses for readership growth. Suite101 pays on a revenue-sharing basis.
5. Make money through affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs will accept Canadian sellers who place special affiliate links online and then earn money each time someone buys an item by using that link. Canadians can make money with affiliate links that they place on their blogs, on their own Websites and on articles that they publish through article directories.
6. Work through a company that hires at-home Canadians to work online with the company. Accentus hires medical transcriptionists in Canada to work online. Axion Data hires Canadians to do online data entry from home.

How to Develop Sell Turnkey Websites

Developing Turnkey Websites
1. Determine which open source web programming software will best suit your needs. For instance, Joomla is a great content management system that can be used to easily create magazine type websites and subscription based sites. While Wordpress is great for developing a quick blog type site with easy-to-build content, thanks to a great admin area. Then there's Drupal and PHPFox for social networking type sites, and so on and so forth. OpenCMS offers a great resource for finding the best software for your website building needs.
2. Install the website building program you decide to use. For some applications, you may be able to use a one button installer known as 'Fantasico,' so you'll need to check with your provider to see if simple installs are available. If simple installs are not an option, read the readme file that comes with your download.

3. Choose a 'template' for your program. Most applications such as Wordpress and Joomla offer free and premium templates that can be installed to give your website an immediate professional or fun look.
4. Write content and upload it to your site. A basic niche website should contain at least 5-10 pages of original content, while larger websites will obviously require more work. The content should focus on a certain topic that gives the website a certain focus.
5. Publish the new content to the website.
Selling A Website Once It Offers Content
6. Visit popular website selling sites such as Sitepoint and forums.digitalpoint. These sites allow users to list their sites and what they offer.
7. Make sure to include important site information with your free listings such as: Number of Visitors, Whether the content is original, Revenue currently being made, and any other pertinent info, such as the platform the site is based on and the host currently being used, along with terms of the sale.
8. Set a BIN (Buy It Now) price for the website. If it's a quick site you set up in a few hours you probably don't want to go to high with the price, but make sure to include in the pricing structure all of the work that went into the website.
9. Accept payment from the winning bidder and then transfer the site to the winner and make sure they accept the transferred files. Set up terms as to when you can delete the pages from your own server.
