How to Make PayPal Redirect to a Link

1. Visit PayPal's website and follow the steps to create and account if you don't already have one (see Resources). Be prepared to give out personal information, including your name, home address and email address.
2. Log in to your PayPal account using the email address and password you provided the site with when you created your account.

3. Click the 'Merchant Services' tab at the top of the page after your account summary page loads.
4. Select the button you want to create under the 'Create Buttons' section. Depending on the type of product or service you are selling, you will either select 'Add to Cart,' 'Buy Now' or 'Donate.' If you're not sure what type of button you should use, click the 'Payment Solution' link on the Merchant Services page to read ideal situations for using each button.
5. Enter the payment details for your product or service after you have clicked on the appropriate link for the type of button you want to use. Be prepared to enter the item name, cost, and shipping and tax details.
6. Click on the 'Customize Advanced Features' tab at the bottom of the page after you have entered your payment details. Select the box next to 'Take Customers to This URL When They Finish Checkout.'
7. Enter the URL you want customers to go to after they have completed their payment. To ensure your customers are taken to the right page, make sure your link starts with 'http://.'
8. Fill in any other features you want your button to have and select the 'Create Button' tab at the bottom of the page when you are finished.
