3. Establish an advertising method. 4. Focus on expanding your traffic, subscribers, leads or clickthrough rates. The more eyeballs you have on your advertisement with your personal affiliate link, the more likely you are to make a sale. Spend time creating content or reaching out to people online in your niche. A good advertising campaign takes time, and most affiliates don’t start earning money right away.
5. Collect commissions from any sales. If you make a sale, your affiliate network account will show the commission you earned. Depending on the network you’re with, you may receive payment by PayPal, by mailed check or by another method. If you are able to increase the amount of sales over time, many affiliate networks reward performance by increasing commission rates.

8. Place the code to show in the header, sidebar, footer or main content of the site. The goal is to get visitors to click on the ads so you get paid.
9. Work on increasing traffic and page views to the site. You can do this by creating great content on a regular basis and ranking in Google for popular search terms.
10. Collect your earnings. It can take time to get paid with ad networks, since you’ll often only earn a few cents to a couple of dollars per click. Your ad network will notify you when you’ve acquired enough clicks and earned enough money to get paid.
