How to Make Money On The Internet Without Selling Anything

1. Advertising.
There are billions of dollars made each year just through online advertising. Online advertising can be extremely profitable because you do not need to buy anything like with most businesses when starting. So as soon as you begin online advertising you immediately make a profit. While in the beginning it might not be a lot, over time it can grow to be an incredible amount of money.
2. Google Adsense.
There are many programs, such as Google Adsense, that you can sign up with to start making money with your websites. Some of these programs will even let you combine them so you can make even more money. Just make sure that your website does not look like too much of an advertisement or you can lose visitors. And it is very important to keep your traffic growing, because without traffic you cannot make money with online advertising.

3. Keywords.
The way many of these programs, like Google Adsense, works is by identifying what is on your website. You might have one about baking, one about the stock market, etc. This is how they know what type of ads to place on your website. If you are wanting to make money make sure your topic is worth a lot. If all of your ads people are clicking only cost 10 cents it can take a long time to make money. But if they are 10 dollars, it's a whole different story.
4. Search engines.
Another thing to remember when making money with online advertising is to make sure you have a good rank with search engines. The higher your rank, the further up you will show up on the searches. If your web page is one of the first few you have a good chance of someone clicking on your website and then clicking on one of your Google Adsense ads.

How to Work With an Ad Agency

1. Learn all you can about how the business works. Most ad agencies have a creative department, which consists of writers and artists who design material. They also have a marketing department, consisting of people who seek out clients, and an accounts department, which is responsible for payments.
2. Take the right courses. While you may be able to work with ad agencies without a degree, taking at least a few classes in writing, design and marketing can help you in your quest to get a job with an agency.

3. Be willing to intern. Doing work as an intern can mean doing grunt work without pay or appreciation. Try to get in with an ad agency where you can get your hands on real projects to give you the experience you'll need to land a job.
4. Beef up your portfolio. You'll need experience or samples, and likely both, regardless of what work you want to do in the agency. Should you want to get into the business department, make sure you have worked in accounts payable or receivable. Creative people should work on samples, do small local jobs or work for free for charity publications.

How to Make Money from Programming

1. Begin by checking out rentacoder.com - once you register on the site, you can bid on a variety of software design projects involving anything from building websites to C/C or Java applications from around the world. If you win the bid, you do the programming and the site takes care of payment collections. The money is deposited into your Paypal account when you complete the project. There are some other payment options available as well.
It's not always easy to win bids as there is quite a bit of competition, but if you work on your presentation and bid low until you improve your rating, you can make some decent money.
2. Take a look at some other freelance coding websites: scriptlance.com, getafreelancer.com, www.guru.com, elance.com - you may find something you can program there.

3. Check craigslist frequently, as there are often freelance programming jobs available in the gigs section under computers.
4.

How to Make Money with Social Link Building

1. Join some social link building websites. These sites include, but are not limited to, Xomba, She Told Me and Redgage. She Told Me pays you a good amount of the advertising on their site. Redgage only pays a penny for every 10 views or so, but backlinks are backlinks. Xomba is probably the best site to join to build links. They pay 50% of the adsense earnings, and they generate a good amount of views.
2. Don't be greedy with your link building. You will want to build links to content that is not just your own. These sites work a lot like non-paying social linking sites like Stumbleupon. You can't just post links to your own work or your content will never be seen. They do this to keep you honest. Share the love, comment on others work, and post links to interesting stories, and you will make out ok.

3. Allow your website or articles to age a little before posting a ton of links. A brand new article with a ton of inbound links will look suspicious to Google. This may cause Google to blacklist you and all your link building efforts will go to waste.
4. Make sure that you grammar is good. If you have poor grammar, it is unlikely that someone will click on the link you provide.

How to Work From Home and Become a Google Quality Rater

1.

Apply:
I have included the link in my resources section below. You will need a cover letter and resume. In addition, Google asks that you possess a four year college degree, and have some writing experience. However, I know people who have gotten hired without a college degree. You will also be asked to take an easy test. When you apply, expect to wait a few weeks for a response. Google hires in cycles, so be patient. Pay ranges from $10-$20/hour, and you must work at least ten (10) hours a weeks. However, you can work up to forty hours in the comfort of your own home! If you are fluent in another language, expect an influx of work to come your way from Google.
2.

Sign a disclosure statement:
There is little to no information in regards to becoming an ad rater for Google. This is because Google does not want people discussing the trade secrets of advertising and/or how ads are rated. Rating ads is like a science experiment. Basically ad ratings have to rated in a controlled environment without discussion. You will need to sign a disclosure statement after you accept a position.

3.

Complete Tasks:
You will receive tasks for the week when you log onto your account. Tasks are first- come-first-serve, so be sure to grab your tasks early. Tasks are easy, but tedious. You are also rated for your performance as an employee on a report card. If you are consistent and complete your tasks in a timely matter, you should have no problem.
4.

Get paid weekly:
Google hires an outside agency-Workforce Logic to hire and pay their ad raters. Expect to get paid weekly. If you are looking for a secure way to make money at home, then applying to become a Google Ad Rater may be a good fit.

How to Navigate Using Waypoints

1. Plan your route from start to finish, including all waypoints in between. If you're using a paper map, mark each waypoint and calculate approximate travel time. Choose safe locations that might serve as good resting areas for your waypoints. Also consider points of interest like waterfalls and supply sites like grocery stores and watering stations.
2. Determine the direction you must take in order to reach the first waypoint safely. When you've reached the first waypoint, reorient yourself with your map.

3. Head for the next waypoint in line. Continue moving from one waypoint to the next until you've reached your destination. It's acceptable to skip a waypoint if you can see that the pathway is blocked or a shortcut presents itself.
4. Retrace your steps if you become disoriented. Your waypoints can function as your escape route should escape become necessary.

How to Add a Scrollbar Section to My WordPress Blog

1. Log in to your WordPress administrator's control panel. From the large menu on the left side of the screen, click 'Appearance,' then click 'Editor.' This area allows you to view and edit the HTML files that make up your WordPress blog's theme.
2. Click the link for the Stylesheet. This is near the bottom of the list of files on the right, under the 'Stylesheets' heading. WordPress keeps the style of all your site's elements in this file. When you click the file, it will appear in the middle of the screen.

3. Start a new line in the file, then paste in the following code:#scrollbarsection {width: 400px;height: 400px;overflow:scroll;}This code tells WordPress that there is a new divider called 'scrollbarsection,' which has a height and width of 400 pixels. If any content inside the divider overflows from this 400 x 400 area, a scroll bar should be added to allow the visitor to access that content. Change the height and width to whatever size suits your needs.
4. Click 'Posts,' and either click the title of the post to add a scroll bar to it, or click 'Add New' to create a new post. Click the 'HTML' tab at the top of the editing area. This allows you to type code into the editor.
5. Place the cursor at the point in the post that you want the scroll bar to appear, then paste the following code:

6. Insert the content inside the two
tags. You can either type text as normal, or click the 'Add Media' button at the top of the editing pane to add images. When you have entered your content, click 'Publish' in the top-right of the screen.
