How do I Make Money Building Websites From Home?

Building Sites to Sell at Auctions
1. Sign up for an account at Flippa or eBay. Go to the auction site and research the websites that are selling for high bids. Write down what topics those sites cover and pay attention to how they are designed.
2. Build a site similar to those that are selling, using a website-building platform you are comfortable with such as Dreamweaver, FrontPage or Wordpress.

3. Go to the auction site and list your site for sale. Set your starting bid at a price that's comparable to similar sites currently up for auction. Write a clear description and Include a screenshot or link for people to click and view your site. Make yourself available to answer any questions. Wait for the highest bidder to send you the money. Contact your Web host to help you transfer the site to the buyer's host.
Build Websites for Other People
4. Go to a freelance website like a Elance or Fiverr and sign up for an account.
5. Fill out your profile information. For Elance, you'll need to sign up for a specific account that lets you apply for Web and programming jobs. On Fiverr, you'll need to list the services you offer. Describe that you build or install websites.
6. Search for website-building jobs on Elance. Click on the job that interests you, write a proposal and bid on the job. Respond to a lot of job listings to increase your chances of getting hired. For Fiverr, wait for someone to contact you and ask you to build a site.
Making Money from Pay-Per-Click Ads
7. Build a website on a popular topic or something that interests you.
8. Sign up for a Google Adsense account.
9. Log into your Adsense account and choose the font and color scheme for your Adsense ads. Google will give you an HTML code after you have finished designing the ad. Take the code and put it in your website's template. You'll make money when visitors click on the advertisements.
10. Keep building sites to increase the chances of people finding and clicking on your ads.
