How to Put Keywords Into Google Ads With AdWords

1. Set up an account with Google AdWords. You will need a Google ID, which can be the same as your ID for other Google services such as Gmail or Adsense. Once you open your account, you will be given the opportunity to enter payment information and set up your ad campaign.
2. Choose the keywords that you want to use for your ad campaign. You can use the keyword tool provided by Google to brainstorm for keywords. When you type in a word, it will give you a list of related keywords that you can use for your ad campaign. Choose from the list of available keywords for your campaign. Your ad can be triggered when someone types in one of these keywords.

3. Write an ad for your campaign based on the keywords you selected. You should include one or two keywords in the headline and the description for your ad. When potential customers are searching for a particular word or phrase in Google, they will be more likely to click on your ad if one of the keywords they are searching for appears in your ad. Think about what the customer would actually be looking for and try to convey this in the ad you write. Avoid errors in grammar and punctuation as this can make your ad look unprofessional. You must limit the ad to 25 characters for the title, 70 characters for the ad text and 35 characters for the displayed URL.
4. Monitor the performance of your ads to see if they are doing well. One way to gauge the success of your ads is to look at the click-through rate. This represents a percentage of how many people are clicking on your ad. For example, if 100 people see your ad and 5 click on it, your click-through rate is 5 percent. When you have a high click-through rate, it improves your ad position with Google and you will not have to pay as much for each click.

How to Make Money Online with Google

1. Decide what you want to write about on a website or a blog, and compare your desires with similar topics that appear on Google's 'Google Trends' page on the Internet. The 'Google Trends' page shows the top 10 topics recently searched through the Google search engine, with the rankings based on the number of searches.
2. Start a blog dedicated to your desired subject matter, while fine-tuning what you write about to incorporate some of the information being searched according to 'Google Trends.' If you intend to use Google AdSense for earning money through Google's advertising efforts, consider starting a blog that easily integrates Google AdSense into the user interface. Such blogs include, but are not limited to, Blogspot, Wordpress and Weebly.

3. Spend at least one or two weeks populating your blog with articles that target your niche readership market. This should be done before adding the AdSense code per Google's instructions in doing so. In this way, Google's search engine will have some information to 'crawl' through on your blog, where it then may be indexed. Advertisement placement for your pages can be generated based on your content.
4. Sign up for a Google account if you have not done so, as this is a requirement for using the Google AdSense program.
5. Log into your Google account and load the AdSense 'Terms of Use' (TOS) agreement into your browser. Read the entire agreement so you are aware of your obligations in using the program.
6. Sign up for a new Google AdSense account once you have agreed to the Terms of Use. At the top of the signup screen, enter the full Web address of your blog beginning with the letters www. For example, if your blog is at www.myblog.com, enter www.myblog.com in this block on the page. Continue filling out all required information. When finished, click the 'Submit Information' button at the bottom of the signup screen.
7. Wait for an AdSense signup confirmation email to arrive in your Google email account. Every Google account is provided with a free email account, and AdSense email is sent to this email account. To log in to your free GMail account, visit mail.google.com and enter the user name and password you used when signing up with Google. Click any confirmation links provided in the email. Once completed, you will be given a link on the resulting page where you may now enter the AdSense setup area.
8. Configure your AdSense banner based on how you want it to appear on your blog. Google will generate the banner code you will include in your blog based on the settings you make on the setup page. Visual representations will be made in real time as you make your selections, so be sure you like the appearance and style of the AdSense banner.
9. Copy the code for your finished AdSense banner when it is displayed in the code block of the setup page. A full copy of the code will be made to your computer operating system's clipboard.
10. Insert the code into your blog where you want the AdSense banner to appear. The process varies based on your blog provider or host. Refer to the Beta Templates and More Earnings websites for information on this process for the most popular blog providers. If your blog provider isn't included, contact your blog hosting provider for details on how to integrate AdSense into your blog pages.

How to Make Money Hosting a Website

1. Choose a strong domain name that will help people not only find you, but understand what your website is all about. Whether you are an author writing about your books, or a business woman handing out marketing tips, your domain name should be as catchy and marketable as your website.
2. Buy a hosting package with a Web hosting company that has an affiliate program. Affiliate programs require you to place a simple HTML ad with a specialized link on your website. When interested users click on that link and buy a hosting package, you get a referral bonus from the Web hosting company. Be sure you place your referral ad in a place your visitors can see it, but that does not obstruct or interfere with your content.

3. Sign up with affiliate sponsor programs, such as Google Adsense, AdBrite, Commission Junction and Anastasia's Affiliate Programs. (See links in Resources.) Browse through relevant sponsor ads when setting up your affiliate account so the most relevant advertisements to your website type appear in rotation on your site. The more relevant the ads are to your content, the more likely you will be to draw in clicks and sales.
4. Draw people in to your website. Use social marketing sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, and put up free ads on sites like CMF Ads and Entrecard. (See Resources for links.) CMF Ads and Entrecard allow you to upload a small button other users add to their high-traffic websites in exchange for the placement of a button on your page. Regular use helps draw in traffic to your site and expose your ads to more viewers.
5. Update your site regularly with content to keep readers and subscribers from losing interest and moving on. Regular content updates will also draw in new viewers, increasing your earning potential from pay-per-click sponsors.

You decide the size, number and location of ads, and Google displays ads based on your site's content. When a visitor clicks on one, Google pays you a percentage of what the advertiser is paying to run the ad. The more visitors you have to your site and click on your ads, the more money you will make, allowing you to have a profitable website within 30 days.
6. Sign up to sell products from your website using affiliate links. Most online and many offline vendors have an affiliate program. Start Your Blog

Once you have some material to read and are indexed in search engines, you can begin to really monetize your blog and start earning money.

Sites like Payperpost, Blogitive or Blogvertise offer these services once your blog has been indexed in search engines such as Google.
6. Apply for professional blogging jobs. Many online classified networks advertise the ability to post on your own blog or on a blog belonging to a company. Many freelance bloggers earn a regular income by blogging this way.
7. Join affiliate programs like Amazon and Chikita Mini Malls that offer the ability to advertise on your blog. Many affiliate marketing programs exist that allow you to monetize your blog and earn based on click through rates.
Maintain Your Blog
8. Update your blog regularly. By keeping your blog fresh, you attract readers who will keep coming back and who might click your ads or purchase advertised services.
9. Add reader services to your blog such as RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds to allow syndication and to attract more readers. Continually finding ways to grow and improve your blog will increase your money-earning potential.
10. Advertise. Once you are earning money from your blog, increase your earning potential by paying for advertising in places that fit your niche. You can also accomplish this by trading links and banners with other pro bloggers to increase exposure for your blog.

How to Make Money From Internet Traffic

Traffic Can Create Income
1. Create a Web site that people will want to visit often and tell others about. Devise articles and content that are thought provoking and interesting on topics that you are interested in. Politically oriented Web sites tend to draw a lot of traffic. One idea to differentiate yourself from the competition is to write up-to-the-minute, cutting edge articles on 'breaking news' stories. Remember that it's very competitive out there so be prepared to put forth the necessary effort to promote your site. Provide interactive options for visitors on your site such as a feedback or comments section and consider free offers such as giving away a free autographed book if you're an author.
2. Add an entertaining audio or video feature to your Web site. Videos have the possibility of going 'viral' on sites such as You Tube. One online company that offers a free and easy-to-use audio download feature is Castblaster.com. Utilize its sound-effect features to provide a studio-like quality to your audio. Place an e-mail capture button on your Web site where visitors are provided with the option of 'opting in' to receive ongoing updates from you regarding your online content via e-mail

3. Use social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to promote your Web site. Design accounts on these networking sites specifically devoted to your Web site. Create a group on Facebook where you can attain fans and e-mail them any time with links to your site. Include an exciting 'teaser' opening sentence that will prompt them to open your link. Ask your friends and family to send out your Web page link to their social network as well. When using sites such as Twitter to promote your site, try not to 'sell' anything each time you 'tweet' but instead gain an audience with a conversational approach.
4. Create an affiliate partner account at Web sites such as Google and Amazon.com. Carefully review and follow the steps for posting banners and links from their program, and post them on your Web site. Each click on these ads generates anywhere from a few cents to a dollar or more. Set your expectation realistically as most clicks only generate a few cents.
5. Partner with online companies that offer a wide array of affiliates. One Web company that offers this service is CommissionJunction.com. Review the choices of online companies there that provide products you feel would appeal to visitors to your Web site. The amount of money you can make from Internet traffic is only limited by the amount of promotion and creativity you put into your Web site.

How to Make a Blog Website for Free

1. Register for a free email address. Gmail.com, Yahoo.com and Hotmail.com are just a few services that provide free email. Choose an appropriate name, preferably one that reflects your desired webpage title. It is important to choose a secure password that includes at least eight letters---both capital and lowercase---and one or more numbers. 'Yourblogname123' or 'Password123' are too obvious. A more secure choice is something like 'SuperMomma5150.'
2. Select a blog website that reflects your interests. Register your blog name using your new email address. Follow the directions on the website, step by step, in choosing a template and formatting your blog. An important step is choosing who can view and comment on the blog. You can limit the viewers or leave it open to anyone who happens upon it.

3. Write in your blog. As time goes on, depending on the type of blog, you can add advertising, pictures, search boxes and more.
4. Sign up with social networking sites to publicize your blog. Websites like Facebook.com, LinkedIn.com, Twitter.com and Xanga.com are popular places to chat and discuss your personal interests, such as your blog. In addition, look for other blogs focused on your personal interests and provide links to them on your own blog. Read and comment on the posts. Interact with other bloggers. Then they will click on your link and read your blog.
5. Add your blog to Google. If you want to reach a wider audience, go to www.google.com and clicking on the link 'About Google,' then 'Submit your content to Google'; and finally, under 'Web,' click on 'Add Your URL.' Insert the URL (the web address) for your blog. Other search engines have similar processes. Maintaining a blog, especially one intended to provide extra income, requires quality writing and dedicated efforts to attract readers.

How to Put Ads on a Website to Make Money

1. Review your website to identify areas in which you wish to put ads. Prime spots on a page include the top 300 pixels of a page, as well as the top left-hand side of a page. The least viewed and least read areas of a web page include the bottom half of the page and the footer area.
2. Determine how you wish to solicit markets and companies to advertise on your website. One of the most popular and easiest methods is to sign up for a third party advertising management program, such as Google AdSense or Yahoo! Publisher for text ads and ValueClick Media for banner ads (see the Resources section for links). Such programs allow you to insert a simple HTML code while the third party manages the ad and pays you for each view or click. Additionally, you may choose to contact businesses individually and offer your own advertising packages.

3. Register for an account with the third party program (such as Google AdSense), or create your own advertising packages and contact other businesses or websites that may be interested in advertising on your website. If you choose the latter route, determine an appropriate price to charge for advertisements. Contact similar websites and ask what they charge, and adjust accordingly for your website's individual demographics or visit numbers. Then, identify companies that would be interested in advertisements. For example, if your website is about dog care, companies that sell dog food or dog toys may be interested in advertising.
4. Upload the advertisement on your website. If using a third party resource, such as Yahoo! Publisher or Google AdSense, you will be provided with a short JavaScript or HTML code. Copy the code from your account page and paste it into your website where you want the ads to appear. The ad will automatically be served and displayed on your web page. If you are personally managing your advertisers, request that they send you a link as well as a banner image (or, if they wish to use text advertising, a short copy of their text ad) and upload to your web page.
5. Monitor the monetary success of your advertisements and tweak your web page to maximize your revenue. For example, if you are being paid for each click, you may wish to test ad locations to identify areas on your website that attract the most clicks. If you are being paid for each view, implement methods of gaining more traffic, such as search engine marketing or advertising your own website.

How to Use JavaScript With WordPress

1. Open up the 'header.php' file for your theme in a code editor. This file is found in the following location:/your-site/wp-content/themes/theme-name/Look for the ending
tag and check that the code
appears above any
tags but below all other tags between
and
. If it is not there, add that line.
2. Add your
tags to include the JavaScripts you wish to use. When the JavaScript is in an external .JS file, include it like this:
/yourscript.js'>
The above code uses
to tell WordPress to look inside your theme folder for the JavaScript. Many developers put all scripts into a folder called 'js' or 'src' to keep things organized. In such a case, remember to include that folder in the path to your script. All JavaScript that is directly on the page goes between
and
tags.

3. When using a JavaSript that depends on a library such as jQuery, MooTools or YUI, you must first enqueue that library. Static HTML websites need you to include libraries as scripts, but WordPress already contains them. Here is an example of how to enqueue jQuery:
Place the enqueue code above
to make it work properly. After enqueing, you can then include JavaScripts that use that library the same way you would include other JavaScripts in WordPress.

How to Find Out Any Website's Traffic, Visitors and Hits

1. If you are the owner of the website, you should install visitor tracking code on your website, such as Google Analytics which is free (see link in Resources at the bottom). It will track how many hits, pages views and unique visitors your website receives daily, weekly and monthly. If you have an e-commerce website, it can also track the conversions and sales amounts. Many other handy charts, graphs and tools are also included. This information is private and only available to you, the account owner. It is best to install the tracking code as soon as possible to start building history. If you are using Google Adwords (you pay to advertise your website) or Google Adsense (you place advertising on your website for profit) then you may already have access to Google Analytics.
2. If you are the owner of the website, another popular website analyzer tool is WebTrends (see link in Resources at the bottom). It goes beyond basic analytics and measures all aspects of the online experience and helps you find ways to improve usability and optimize conversions for page views, paths and scenarios. However, it is not free and instead comes with a hefty price tag.

3. If you are the owner of the website and you would like to share the traffic stats with the public then you can install tracking code on your website, such as StatCounter which is free (see link in Resources at the bottom). It allows you to set the traffic stats to public or private, and it gives you the option to show or hide the hit counter on your website. Finally, your website will be assigned an ID number and a public link that can be given out to certain people which allows them to view your website traffic stats without having to login. Or, you can display the stats right on your webpage for everyone to see. This is useful if you want to prove how well your website is doing, in the case of selling advertising on the website or selling off the entire website. Again, it is important to install tracking code promptly to begin building historical data.
4. There are many cases where you may not be the website owner but want to find out how well another website performs. However, since you do not own the site then you will not be able to see the full-blown traffic stats displayed by Google Analytics. And if you do not know the website owner then you will not know what the public link to their Stat Counter is either. Now it is time to do some investigation.
5. You may be curious about how much traffic any website generates, or you want to find out how well your competitor's website is performing. The first place to go is TrafficEstimate which is free (see link in Resources at the bottom). Search for a website address to see the estimated number of visitors to the site in the last 30 days, along with a simple graph. For example, Markus Frind, currently the biggest individual Google Adsense publisher, makes over $10,000 a day from his free dating website, Plenty of Fish. If you type in www.plentyoffish.com into the Traffic Estimate tool then you can see the website gets over 4.7 million hits per month. Keep in mind that the estimator tool is just that, an estimate. You may need to divide the number by three, or multiply the number by three to estimate the true traffic. At least you can get a ballpark figure.
6. Now for the fun stuff. Alexa is the top web information authority which is free (see link in Resources at the bottom). Search for a website address and see how a website ranks compared to all other websites in the world. For example, search for Yahoo.com or Google.com and click site info/overview then traffic details. You will see their current traffic rank is #1 and #2 in the world, and each consumes an estimated 30% of global traffic. You can search for any website address that you are interested in finding its traffic rank. Alexa also provides other neat graphs and handy info. Although it does not show you the exact number of visitors, you can get a general idea of the website's performance. By comparing the traffic rank of your website to your competitor's website, you can estimate who gets more traffic. For example, YouTube.com ranks higher than Weather.com.
7. Finally, if you want to see a wide variety of stats for any website then you can visit dnScoop for free (see link in Resources at the bottom). Search for any website address and you will see the website's age, page rank, inbound links (referring sites), Alexa traffic rank, and even the estimated monetary value of the website if it were for sale.

How to Add Google AdSense to Joomla

There is an optional box you can check to receive or limit periodic newsletters. Answer how you found out about AdSense from the drop-down menu.
5. Click 'Submit Information' at the bottom of the application and check the information you entered on the next page. Choose to use an existing Google account or create a new log-in and click 'Continue.' You'll have to wait one or two days while Google reviews your application.

12. Go back to your Joomla add-on and scroll down until you see the box for 'Publisher ID.' Paste the publisher ID you copied from your AdSense account.
13. Modify the add-on within Joomla. Depending on the type of add-on you downloaded, you can change the layout, placement, colors and text of the ads that will appear on your website.
14. Save the add-on. Load your website to make sure the changes you made are reflected where appropriate.

How to Make Money on Building a Website

Make Money Building Sites and Selling Ads
1. Sketch out your site design and page layout. Plan to keep areas on the page that are proven to be effective ad spots completely free of editorial content. According to advertising strategists and ad providers such as Google, ads placed in specific strategic areas perform better than other areas. Exemplary ad spots include the areas right above your page's primary content, as well as the left-hand and top rows below your main navigational bar.
2. Build the site. You may choose to use a visual site editor such as Adobe Dreamweaver, or a basic text editor (e.g., TextEdit on a Mac or Notepad on a Windows PC) if you are comfortable with manually editing HTML code. Make notes in the HTML for where you wish to place ads.

3. Upload the site to your web host using the FTP software. If you do not have a web hosting account, you may register with one of the many popular web hosts that provide low-cost hosting. These include companies such as Fat Cow and Pronet (see Resources). To ensure economic feasibility and maximize their online profit, entrepreneurs who build sites for the purpose of hosting ads typically choose such low-cost hosting providers to keep overhead costs down. Some services will even provide sites with vouchers for free advertising on popular sites such as MSN and Google.
4. Sign up for an automated advertising program. These programs are typically the best way for new sites to sell ads. The advertising program manages and serves the actual ads through a piece of code that you place on your pages, and you are paid for each click or view that a customer generates on your page. Popular advertising programs include Google AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher. Insert the ad code in the placemarkers that you set in Step 2. Save the updated files to your web host.
5. Create your own private advertising program once your site has generated a significant amount of page views and unique visitors. A private advertising program, where advertisers provide you directly with ads and you set your own prices, is typically more lucrative than an automated ad program such as Google AdSense. However, advertisers will usually be wary of buying ad spots on a new site until it has proven that it is generates significant publicity. You may choose to set ad prices for your private program at a low level and raise them gradually as your site gains more viewers.
Make Money Building and Selling Websites
6. Find a niche market that does not have very many competing websites. A simple search on your favorite search engine will generate lists of websites for those specific keywords. Narrow or widen the keyword search until you find a market that does not have very many pre-existing websites. For example, 'pet care' is a competitive market with many pre-existing companies. However, 'Pomeranian dog care' has a much more narrow focus with very few sites serving this demographic.
7. Build the site using a text editor or visual site editor. Fill the site with unique content that is directed toward your market and the keywords on which you are focusing on. For example, a Pomeranian dog care site may have grooming tips, feeding guides and photos of Pomeranian dogs. Five to 10 unique pages are typically enough to create a relatively complete guide to your niche market.
8. Upload the site to a cheap web hosting account that provides free domain names. Your goal is to keep your overhead costs low so that you can maximize the income you make when you sell the site.
9. Calculate the price for how much you wish to sell your website. Add up the cost of web hosting, as well as the time you spent building the site. Then, determine how much profit you wish to generate off of the sale. Typically, entrepreneurs add a 30- to 40-percent overhead cost to their site's actual fees. You may also wish to consider how large the market is for the site you're selling. For example, a Pomeranian dog care site may not attract as many potential buyers as a site on men's skin care.
10. List the website for sale. You may choose to use general purpose listing sites such as Craigslist. Alternatively, you may use companies that are specifically operated as a marketplace for selling sites. Examples include the SitePoint Marketplace or WebsiteBroker (see Resources).

How to Set Up Local Ads

1. Set up a budget to determine how much money you have available to contribute towards advertising. Disperse the funds available based on where you feel your ad will prove to be the most beneficial, based on what you are offering and your target market, or more specifically target audience.
2. Start a website. Starting a website can be a low-cost option that will go the farthest. You can use your website to set up ads, display information, special offers and contact information. Starting a website is also a good way to gather your own research. Do this by implementing a tracking feature, where you can ask visitors to indicate how they heard about your website. This will help you to determine which ad is generating the most exposure and make changes, if needed.

3. Contact merchant magazines in your area and investigate other community advertisements. Displaying an ad on a community calender or in a local business magazine is an inexpensive way to reach potential clients. In addition, speak with staff members at your local community center, shopping malls and grocery stores as they may have an area where you can post your ad for free.
4. Post an ad in the newspaper to reach a large audience for a low cost. Keep in mind these sources are more likely referred to by older populations. Therefore, if your target audience is for consumers under the age of 30, this may not prove to be as fruitful as you may like.

How to Make Money by Advertising on Your Website

1. Create an account with Google Adsense. Google Adsense puts banners and advertisements on your website from various other websites. Every time one of your visitors clicks a link and buys one of the advertised products, Google places money in your account. You must reach a certain payout amount before you receive any money.
2. Join pay-per-click programs and websites. Pay per click (PPC) works differently because it pays you money when a visitor clicks a link on your page. PPC companies usually direct ads to compatible websites, which creates more interest for readers. If you run a book review website, the links might relate to sites offering books for sale.

3. Accept pay-per-impression ads to appear on your website. This method pays you a certain amount of money for a certain number of ads. For example, a company may offer you $10 for 1,500 ads. Every time the ad loads on your page, that counts as an impression.
4. Become a member of an affiliate program. Affiliate programs work like Google Adsense, but offer a specific product or type of product. You place the ads on your page and earn a percentage of each sale the advertiser makes. The amount varies, depending on the percentage share you receive.
5. Offer advertising space for sale on your site. The advertisers come to you, rather than you going to the advertisers. Give your advertisers a certain amount of time to appear as an ad and you receive money in exchange. This works best if you have a large number of readers visiting your site.

How to Remove Encrypted Footer Links From WordPress Themes

1. Log in to your WordPress admin area. Click 'Appearance' from the large menu on the left, then click 'Editor.' The theme editor allows you to edit the theme's HTML files. Under normal circumstances, you could just go to 'footer.php' and delete the links in question; however, with encrypted links, this may cause the entire site to stop functioning. To get around this, you must replace the 'footer.php' file completely.
2. Click on 'index.php' and scroll to the bottom of the file. Locate the following line of code:
This tells WordPress to run all the code in the 'footer.php' file. Add the following lines of code above and below this line:

These are comment tags -- the site will ignore everything between the '
' tags. Click 'Update File' when done.

3. Load up your blog's main index page in a browser. Click 'View,' then 'View Source.' The HTML source code for this page appears. Scroll down and find the 'FooterStart' and 'FooterEnd' comment tags you just inserted. Copy all the code between these two tags to the clipboard.
4. Return to your WordPress admin window. While still in the Theme Editor, click 'footer.php' from the list on the right. Delete all the code in the file, then paste in the code you just copied.
5. Locate the links. In HTML, links look like this: '
Anchor text
'. Delete all the links that you want to remove, then click 'Update File.'

How to Make Money Off Google by Making Websites

Create and Optimize for Google
1. Decide what type of website you'd like to create. You can create a blog, forum or just an informational site.
2. Create your site. Tools are available online to help you create sites without knowing HTML or other web languages. Wordpress, an easy and popular website publishing platform, is great for making nice looking websites without a lot of prior knowledge needed.

3. Get your website listed in Google results. You can submit your website directly to Google using its 'Add your URL to Google' tool. This tells Google about your website so you can start ranking in different search terms.
4. Use search engine optimization to get your website moving up the rankings in Google results. Improve your rankings by getting other websites to link to you, creating meta tags and having a well-written title.
Add Revenue Generators
5. Sign up for Google Adsense and implement their ad serving code into your website. Once their code is in place, it will scan the content of your site and decide what type of ads to show. Each time a visitor clicks one of these ads, you get money. The price of the click is determined by how much the advertiser is willing to pay. Some clicks will pay as little as one penny, while other clicks might pay $10 or more.
6. Sign up for an affiliate account and add their code to your website. Some larger websites have their own in-house affiliate programs, but most subscribe to a larger network to be found more easily by publishers. By signing up for a network, you get access to all affiliates it carries. Some advertisers must first approve your website before you can start selling their products. Affiliates will typically pay you a percentage of a sale or a flat fee for each person signing up for their service or buying something from their website.
7. Add a shopping cart to sell your own merchandise. You can choose from different shopping cart software available and implement it into your website. You can choose what type of payment you will accept, from credit cards to PayPal. This is the most difficult type of revenue to set up, but it has the potential to bring in the most income because you've essentially cut out the middle man.

How do I Create Turnkey Internet Businesses in Hours and Sell Them?

1. Purchase a website domain and hosting for the site. You can usually buy a domain and hosting from the same provider, as part of a package. You can use a website such as bluehost.com to do both.
2. Setup the website on the host site. Purchase a website template. These sites can be bought cheaply and are filled with several pages and are ready to be customized. Upload the pages to your host after you make changes to include the site name and any design changes you want.

3. Add content to each page. You can purchase content from content providers such as Constant Content. Pick content that relates to a specified topic that your website will be about.
4. Add links to related sites. You can add products to one of the pages to be sold, just find out where the products can be purchased from to give this information to the person you sell the site to. You can use a free Paypal shopping cart to make the items clickable for purchase.
5. List the website for sale in places such as Craigslist and on other online bulletin-board-type websites. You can even include on the website itself that it is for sale and list your contact email.

How to Install The Google Sitemaps Plugin in a WordPress Blog

1. Download the Google Sitemap plugin to your computer. You can find the link for this in the Resources section below, or just search for the Google Sitemap plugin on the WordPress plugin page.
2. Sign onto your web host. This will vary from user to user. If you use free WordPress and not a host, you cannot use plugins.

3. Find wp-content/plugins directory on your hosting site. Upload the zip file (google-sitemap-generator.3.1.0.1.zip or higher) to the plugins folder.
4. Extract the zipped files.
5. Make two different files (named sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz) and upload via FTP to your directory. The directory is usually called wp-config.php. Althought you do not want your whole site to be writable, you do want these two new files to be writable via CHMOD 666.
6. Go into your plugins on WordPress and activate the newly added sitemap.

How to set up URL Channels for Google Adsense

How to Promote Affiliate Products Without A Website

1. Join Forums and discussion groupsDo a quick Google search and find a few forums that are related to the product you will be promoting. Find at least 2 or 3 that have a high page rank and register with them. Once you register set up your signature line which is where you will put your name and affiliate links. After you do that it is time to get active. Start posting questions, comments and answers to other member's questions. Don't promote your products in the body of your posts. Simply write a valuable informative response and people will read your signature line and more than likely visit your site. The more active you are the better. Try to visit the forums a few times a week. Once people see that you are a valuable contributor they will start to trust you. Once you build trust you will begin to attract visitors to your affiliate links. The more visitors you get the more likely you are to get sales.
2. Writing ArticlesThis is probably the best way to generate a ton of targeted traffic to your affiliate products. If you write good informative articles you will get a decent amount of traffic to your site. Submit each article you write to several different directories. I personally submit my articles to 7 different directories.Ezinearticles.com
Ideamarketers.com
Articledashboard.com
Affsphere.com
Ehow.com (revenue sharing site)
Flixya.com (revenue sharing site)
Howhub.com (revenue sharing site)Your articles don't have to be long. 300-400 words will do just fine. Make sure you have a compelling title. If the title isn't interesting then people won't read the article which means you won't get any traffic or sales.Make sure your article has a good keyword density. This is how people will find your article when they use search engines such as Google or when they search on the article directory site.Once you finish writing your article you will have a box that is called the resource box. This is where you will put your affiliate links and any other information about the product you are promoting. The great thing about articles is that they stay in the archives of these directories forever so you can still be getting sales from your articles years after you have written them. Doesn't get any better than that.

3. Linkreferral.comLinkreferral is a free traffic exchange site. You have to participate on a regular basis in order to get a decent amount of traffic. Here is how it works. You have to visit 30 sites in the network a day, comment on 5 of them, favorite 1 of them and make a post in the forums. Once you have done that you will receive 30-60 unique visitors to your site a day. Not bad for about 30-40 minutes worth of work.
4. Create a squidoo pageIt is true that you do not need your own personal website in order to promote affiliate products. The problem is that not all article directories will let you send their visitors to an affiliate website. Ezinearticles.com is one of them. Ezinearticles.com gets A LOT of traffic so it would be a great idea to submit articles to their site. To make sure your articles get published and to get around the fact that you can't send visitors directly to an affiliate website you can simply set up a squidoo page.Squidoo is a very high ranking site. Put together a good squidoo page by posting articles (the same ones you post in the article directories) and other information about the product you are promoting. From there you can send them to your affiliate site.

How to Make Money to View Ads

1. Look over the terms and conditions of the different sites offering to pay you to view advertisements. Look for a site with a low cash-out amount but not one that makes it seem like you will get rich quick on their site.
2. Read through the payment terms of each site. Always look for one paying a set fee for advertisements and not one that promises free products or gift cards.

3. Perform a web search for the name of the site you are considering plus the word 'scam' or 'review'. This will give you links to user-written reviews of the company so you get an idea of the working conditions.
4. Set up a junk email account. When doing work for sites that pay users for watching advertisements, there is a good chance the site will share your email address with the advertisers. Using a junk email address for this type of work will keep your regular email box free of spam.
5. Sign up for an account at one or more of the sites that you decided fits your needs. Read through any information they send to you to ensure you are following all of the site's rules.
6. Complete the screening survey to determine your demographics. The survey will ask your age, gender, household makeup and yearly income at the minimum. You may have to answer additional questions depending on the site you choose.
7. Select an available advertisement to watch. Keep the advertisement at the front of your screen.
8. Respond to any prompts presented during or at the end of the advertisement. You may need to click on the flashing button or another target within a set number of seconds. These prompts ensure you are watching the ad and not just opening it and walking away.
9. Answer any questions asked about the advertisement. Questions may include if you think the advertisement is effective or if you would change anything about the ad. You typically receive more pay for ads that require you to give your opinion.
10. Continue watching any available advertisement. If you run out, log out of the website and try again within a few hours. If possible, sign up for email alerts from the site so you receive notice of when new advertisements are available.

How to Make Money on the Internet

1. **Read this, just for a bit of inspiration**I make about $3,500 a month on the internet. Not quite enough for me and my family to live on, but a nice addition to my income just the same. It's pretty easy, and pretty quick, to get a SMALL income stream started. It takes time and effort to build it up. Might as well get started today.
2. **Take stock of what you have to offer**If you are a writer, programmer, designer, or photographer, there are oodles of opportunities for you. If you have a speciality of any sort -- carpentry, raising kids, planning vacations or weddings, playing Guitar Hero 3 -- you can get paid for your expertise.Even if you think all you can offer is time, there are plenty of opportunities for you as well.

3. **Scan the available steps**I've listed a lot of options in the steps that follow, all of them legitimate. Pick the one that seems the best fit for you and your skills, and start exploring.
4. **Freelance Work**If you have a skill to offer, check out the various freelance sites (sometimes called 'personal outsourcing'), like elance.com and guru.com (see the Resources section for the links I mention). You can post your skills at these sites, so potential customers can check you out, and you can also look around for freelance projects that others have posted. There are tons of opportunities for freelancers, in very varied fields. Common projects, though, are writing, computer or graphics design work, creating web pages, programming, writing brochures or reports, illustration, photography, and so on.Pay can be pretty good, especially after you've earned a quality rating at one or more of the freelancing sites. At the same time, though, keep in mind that you're competing with freelancers from around the world.Take a look at the 'How Elance Works' video on their main page to get a quick overview.
5. **Try Writing Web Content**There are a quite a number of ways to take your skill as a writer and turn it into cash. One of them is right here at eHow. Write brief 'How to' articles on any topic of your choosing, and get paid for the article. The more popular the article, the more income you can expect. A good article will bring in $50 per year or more. Write 10 top-notch articles, and that's $500. A hundred articles...you get the picture.I can't say enough good things about eHow. To my mind, it is the best income generating opportunity available. Google the term 'ehow101' to learn more about how to make it work.UPDATE: eHow is now run through its parent company, Demand Media Studios (DMS). If you want to apply to write for eHow or other DMS properties, or to be an editor, check out the freelancer's application at demandmedia.com.
6. **Write Product Review**ConsumerSearch.com, a site owned by the N.Y. Times, pays freelance writers a minimum of $350 per article for product reviews. While that sounds like good money (and it is...and you can earn even more than that!), their particular brand of reviews requires good research and writing skills, and takes a lot of work. Check 'em out at consumersearch.com/jobs.
7. **More writing opportunities**--At SoftwareJudge.com, write reviews of select software products...top reviews earn up to $50 each.--Product Reviews. You may be familiar with epinions.com, but did you know they pay cash for good quality reviews. You won't get rich, but you can get started.--Suggest domain names according to site descriptions at Pickydomains.com Get $25 for each name that is chosen.--At Xomba.com, write anything you feel like, and collect 50% of any advertising income from Adsense clicks on your page.--Become a fledgling journalist at examiner.com, and cover a special topic area in your neck of the woods...they pay pretty well.--Other writing sites include associatedcontent.com, firehow.com, helium.com, and Squidoo. In fact, one of my eHow colleagues has put together a very nice Squidoo 'lens' with 101 sites where you can get paid to provide content...check it out in the Resources section.
8. **Check out QA Sites**I earn much of my income as an online researcher, answering folks questions on everything under the sun: investments, market research, divorce law, homework help...you name it. If this sounds like your cup of tea, here are some resources to explore:--The Association of Independent Information Professionals (aiip.org) can help you build you own QA website and business. I've built my research business at xooxleanswers.com, and it is a steadily growing source of income for me.--I also work with Uclue.com Though they are not accepting new researchers right now, it's worth a look to see how a well-developed QA site works.--Another QA site is JustAnswer, and they offer small payments for answers to questions.
9. **Earn money from your own blog or website**The key is to generate as much traffic as you can, and to have your visitors click on ads and affiliate links. The more people visiting your site, clicking on ads, and buying affiliate products, the more income you can earn. As good as this sounds, income is generally more a trickle than a flood. But again, steadily building your site (or sites), and building traffic, is the key to generating a steadily growing stream of income.Google Adsense is the most commonly used service for placing banner and text ads on blogs and websites. As I've learned to maximize Adsense income over the years, I've come to recognize this as one of the best income-generating opportunities available. You can also incorporate in-text ads (the colored, underlined text with small pop-up ads). I like InfoLinks.com for this, and Kontera.com is another commonly used service.Affiliate ads usually pay whenever a sale is made for a product. Amazon.com has one of the most well-known affiliate programs that all you to sell books or other Amazon products on your site or blog, and earn a cut of the sale.Other good affiliate resources are Commission Junction at cj.com, LinkShare.com, and AssociatePrograms.com.
10. **Blog With the Best of Them**If you don't have a site of your own, starting a blog is pretty easy at sites like Blogger.com, and Wordpress.com. Blogs make money through online advertising and affiliate sales, such as through the Amazon.com affiliates program. Blogger makes it very simple to automatically place Google Adsense ads on your blog. Also, at Orble.com, you can take ownership of an abandoned blog with a specific focus, like Film, or Travel, and collect a portion of the ad revenues. The advantage of this is that the blog is already well-represented in search engines, and can often generate much more traffic than a new blog of your own. See Orble under the Resource links for more information.
11. **Sell your photos**At sites like istockphoto.com and shutterpoint.com you can upload still photos or videos for sale, and receive a royalty payment every time someone makes use of your content.
12. **Take Online Surveys**I mention survey work with a good deal of trepidation...the surveys are tedious, the pay is meager, and there are many sites that are dubious, or out and out scams. The most legitimate operation I know is GlobalTestMarket.com. They offer real surveys, and they pay real money. Again...tedious, and earning takes a long, long time.CashCrate.com also pays users to take online surveys. They strike me as legitimate, but I confess, I don't have any first-hand experience with it, so approach with caution...SurveyScout.com is another possibility, but unlike CashCrate, they charge a membership fee before you can get started (Boo!). I've also heard some negative feedback from users of this site, so proceed with caution (if you proceed at all!).
13. **Teaching and Tutoring**Search on [ Online tutoring ] and you'll uncover dozens of sites in this booming corner of the internet. Many accept applications for online tutors, with variable rates and topic areas. Two to consider are tutor.com and ehomeworkhelp.com
14. **Check into online 'Jury Duty'**Here's an odd one. Lawyers looking for feedback on how a case will play before a jury can make use of online e-jury sites to solicit input from the type of average citizens that show up on juries. Yes, you get paid. Fees for complex cases can run over $50, though $20 is more typical. To serve as an online juror, check out onlineverdict.com, or trialpractice.com.Be aware, though, that none of the sites I've registered at has ever actually contacted me for a jury case, so I'm not sure just how active these services are. If anyone knows more about them, please leave a remark in the Comments.
15. **Become a virtual office assistant**At TeamDoubleClick, you can sign on for temporary jobs as an office assistant, handling correspondence, emails, bookkeeping, data entry, and other office jobs. Think of it as an online temp agency for virtual work. Pay is varied, but you are not obliged to take jobs that don't meet your financial needs.
16. **Play games**At moola.com, you can get paid to play. This is probably the strangest one yet, and I can't personally vouch for it (I've only tinkered with the site), but it looks legitimate. Moola starts you off by giving you a penny, which you can then double, and double again, through a variety of games and activities.Presumably, they make oodles of money through ads, and are willing to throw some of it your way by participating in their zany set of games and marketing gimmicks. They call themselves a 'Massively Multiplayer Rewards Game'. It's too complicated to explain here, but worth a look.
17. **Participate in crowdsource design**'Crowdsourcing' is the buzzword for getting a lot of people to do your work for you. If you're good at designing things like t-shirts, logos, fancy fonts, and other graphics, take a look at the challenges at 99designs.com and threadless.com.If your design is chosen, you can collect hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
18. **More blogging opportunities**How does $100 a month sound for writing a few blog posts every week? That's what you can be paid (actual range is $84-140) if you get accepted as a blogger at Creative Weblogging. They are a large blog network, and seem to have mastered the art of monetizing their many sites. All they need are people to write them, and keep the content fresh.UPDATE: Creative Weblogging has changed hands and is changing how -- or if -- it pays bloggers. Stay tuned for additional updates.
19. **Earn with any type of content**Blogging, articles, photos, video, you name it. Flixya offers 100% of ad revenue to anyone who posts at their website (you need to have your own Google Adsense account to participate). Words, pictures, videos, whatever ya got. Post it, bring in some traffic, and collect some ad clicks. (Haven't tried it yet myself, but Flixya has a good reputation).
20. **Just Visit**Another site that pays for content is mylot.com, but they also promise earnings everytime you use the site!. They also pay for referrals. Haven't given them a test run yet, so use them with caution, but they seem worth exploring, at least. If you have experience with them, please post a comment, below.
21. **Listen to music**At slicethepie.com, you can get paid for listening to music.Say what!!! Yep, listen to upcoming artists, and review their music. The more reviews you write -- and the better you are at spotting new talent -- the more you can get paid. Some folks are pulling in several dollars per review.
22. **Typing and Dictation**If you have good typing skills, consider Speak-Write.com, an online dictation service.
23. **Stay focused**You can participate in online focus groups at 2020research.com, where you review a product you've used, or discuss an issue of interest to you. Payment ranges from about $50-150 per session. Participants are typically asked to join a group once or twice a year.
24. **Work for Google**Ha, ha...couldn't resist. But you can earn through Google by posting content at Google Knol. This online encylopedia-like site is a place where anyone can contribute content, and you can 'monetize' your efforts by placing Adsense ads on your article to generate revenue. I wrote a Knol about eHow. You can see it by searching on the term ehow101.
25. **Review websites for usability**You can get paid for reviewing websites. Usertesting.com pays $10 per website review, where you provide feedback on quality and usability. It's not open-ended...you have to be selected to test, based on your demographic profile.
26. **Earn money reading emails**Really! Of course, there are ads involved, and you might be asked to click a few things, but it's not difficult. Expect to get 5-10 emails a day (more, if you register multiple email addresses), and earn a few pennies per email. Check out InboxDollars.com.
27. **Try a little bit of everything**Genuinejobs.com is a legitimate work-at-home (telecommuting) site that lists hundreds of jobs, none of which require a fee, and many of which can be done online. Registration is simple...worth checking out.
28. **Write for the NY Times**Really! The Times owns two sites that regularly hire writers.I already mentioned ConsumerSearch.com up above, a site that uses freelance writers to create detailed reviews of common consumer products...minimum pay is $350 per write-up, and they do a lot of hiring.About.com, another Times property, hires writers as guides. These positions, paying $725/month or more, are tough to get, but worth looking into.
29. **And don't forget...**At the risk of repeating myself, eHow is just about the best opportunity out there. Although getting on board through Demand Media Studios takes more work than at the eHow of old, it's still worth the effort.
