How to Create Backlinks to Your Sites

1. Using the comments section. Whether you have a blog, write for ehow, or any site in general. Just having friends leave comments on a blog, or article helps build backlinks. Every comment left is a backlink to your site. It's even better, when someone uses some keywords of the title in their comments. The more comments, the more backlinks it builds. The more helpful it is on search engines and getting ranked. It's important to use your most important keywords in your title, to help get the best backlinks to your site.
2. Use search engine submission. Don't overlook the power of numerous search engines, and creating more backlinks to your site. I use submit express, which is free and easy. It does help as well, since my articles aren't just targeted to just a handful of search engines. You can't overlook the smaller search engines as well.

3. Use google search engine optimization. Seo words, targeted for google. You should target google, especially if you have a google adsense account, and you're making money off their ads. You want to target google even if you don't have one. They're the number one search engine on the web. Plenty of traffic and lots of backlinks can be built up on their site. Using the proper seo words, can help you make quite a bit of money. I try to use my critical ones in the first paragraph, so google bots pick up on them. Not familiar with seo words, then use googles search-based keyword tool. It will help you see which words get hits each month, and the competition for these words. Some words there are lots of competition for, so it becomes difficult to get ranked on them.
4. Use social bookmarks. Some people swear they're not helpful, however, they are if use dedicate the time to them. If you use one, two, or even just three of them they might not make much of a difference. However, the more backlinks, the better! You just need to send links to your articles, or blogs out to more than one site! Use shetoldme for starters, I really love this site. It does help and my traffic and earnings have gone up because of it. I recently checked out my ehow articles, the ones I've sent. I've notice traffic increase on just about all of them, and the money has increased quite nicely as well.Use socialmatcher.come for adding tons of links, to numerous social bookmark sites. They have the best ones, it is free to send articles, blogs, to about 50 of them for free. Any social bookmark site you find, you should try if you're serious about building great backlinks and increasing your income online. I think it's more crucial for blogs especially, to build tons of backlinks. Since blogs don't generate the traffic a site like ehow does.
5. Use the resource section to create links to other work you've done. For instance, if you write on ehow, and other writing sites as well, they usually allow you to do this. Some don't, so read their guidelines. Use their resource section to create links to other articles, or blogs similar to your topic. A lot of bloggers go to sites and write articles specifically targeted for their blog, and then post a link directly to it. It sure helps to use sites like ehow, hubpages, for example, as backlinks to others sites, or work you've done. If you are a blogger, then you should start considering doing this. Sites like this drive in a lot of traffic, and you can use that traffic to help go to your blog. Or just to other articles that you've written on that particular site, or another one.

How to Sell an Online Community

1. Compile reports on traffic, number of monthly users and any income the online community makes. Monthly users and traffic reports can be exported from Google Analytics (see Resources) or any other website traffic tracking system you are using. For income reports, export those from the companies you are utilizing to make money, such as Google AdSense.
2. Calculate the worth of your website by multiplying its annual revenue by three to six. Use your income reports to determine how much you make annually before taxes.

3. List the website on specialized sites such as Flippa and Buy Sell Website (see Resources). A variable fee is charged for both listing and selling the site. Create a standard ad or an auction for the site. Ads must include the URL, revenue figures, visitor totals, a detailed description of where and how you get the revenue and your accepted payment methods. Include any screen caps that back up your revenue and visitor claims.
4. Agree with the buyer on a transition plan, including the transfer of the domain name. Ask for a partial payment, with the remainder paid when you transfer the actual website files to the buyer. Put the files on a CD or DVD and send them to the buyer using a mail service with a tracking number for additional security.
